Look, I absolutely admire Hassan's audacity and guts. Her unprecedented feat speaks for itself.
Still, I would have liked to see a display of strength similar to what Cheptegai produced in the 5,000m yesterday. That was a beautiful display of fitness and racing prowess. Hassan's victory was a stride at the end of a hard tempo run.
It's not up to Gidey to tell Hassan and the other runner how to run their race. She wasn't strong enough and Hassan was the best.
