What is relevant are Hassan's 1500 rounds antics both prior, with one being the same day as the 5000 final. Please, do not attempt debate.
Much more capital in the pockets of those supplying new synthetic drugs versus those who are attempting to catch them. The resources are far more vast with those making money off supplying. It is a straw man argument to say they've never been caught, so they're clean. What about FloJo? Ma's Army? None of them tested positive, so I guess they were clean, right?

this was the easiest gold for her based on competition and accumulated stress as its the first final. with that being said she made it look incredibly easy after falling in the 1500 earlier in the day. excited to see how the next two finals play out, but it has to be a difficult road as kipyegon and gidet both have faster pbs in their respective races and will be fresher. i wonder how this run will mentally impact her opponents tho as she accomplishes remarkable feats their own confidence may be lacking.
I don't know why people are autistically shouting that there is no way for her to recover from these races. She has done nothing but run TEMPO pace in everything so far bar the last 600m with plenty of rest between heats. Every runner at that level will have days doing two hard efforts in a single day and she would have trained specifically for that knowing full well the olympic schedule. This was the only day where she actually had to do that and the 5k was a park jog up until the 9-10min mark.
Siffan Hissan is a GOAT. What she is currently doing is so bloody amazing for the sport - best thing since kipchoge's sub 2 hour exhibition. How many times do we have to suffer the promise of a great race only to have pu**y athletes scratch last minute time after time. This is a historic feat and I am screaming my head off for her success every step of the way. She is easily my second favorite athlete right now and just second because i happened to fall in love with femke bol

Yes, I think going hard Ayana-style at world record pace (or the fastest pace possible in tough weather conditions ) is Giday’s only chance. There is a chance that Hasan will be too tired to keep up, similarly to 5,000m in Rio, when Ayana came only 2nd as she was clearly tired from her 10,000m effort (10,000m was run before 5000m in Rio, if I recall this correctly).
I think a tie is possible in the 1500, in which case I'm looking forward to the jump off.

If Gidey pulls something like 29 low in the heat this would be more suspicious for me than a Hassan triple. (With all respect I don't understand why people don't find Gidey, Tsegay and the other Ethiopians who improved up to 20 sec. to 14:14 in Hengelo or similarly out of nowhere at least as suspicious as Hassan who ran 3:56 in 2015) It would be like Cheptegei running 26:20 last Friday.
Hassan is suspicious in general but there was absolutely nothing off in her 5000m performance. I'd say the Hassan of 2018 before supershoes could have pulled this off with a bit of luck (although she sometimes lost to Obiri back then but would have been favored in a race at 15:00 pace until the last two laps). The one amazing thing was to have the 1500m heat with the fall but this was almost 12 hours before and the pace in that 1500m before the last lap was around Hassan's 3k pace.
