Where are the people who predicted no golds ? 2 to go
That was so easy, there isn't even any discussion of it. Gudaf Tsegay is the world record holder in indoor mile and wasn't even close.
The 1500 is the real test for her and 10k may not be a walk in the park either. This was the easiest on paper?! I 'm thinking now.

Go Sifan Hassan.
I know there are a lot of haters of her in there forum.
I didn't post much in these forums the last days because I prefer to "let the tracks talk".
She reminds me so much of the great Rashid Ramzi. Makes it look so easy in the last 100.

I honestly thought Tsegay would give her more of a challenge. To drop a 14:13/ 3:53 runner like that is seriously insane, and I thought Obiri ran excellent just couldn't match the last 200. Tsegay looked to me to be watching what everyone was doing too much and should've moved earlier, but easy to say that in retrospect. Obiri continues her consistent performances at WC/OG and always peaks at the right time. Hassan closing in 57?! She wasn't even in the lead at the bell.

I can't see her beating Kipyegon in the 1500, but I think she can win the 10k as long as the previous races didn't take too much out of her.
Never doubted her in the 5k and I can see her win the 10000m too. She must be in the best shape of her life to go for a triple, though I don't think she will get the 1500m.
1500m will be her real test. She is wining the 10000m too unless she is completely exhausted

Yeah, Kipyegon looks invincible.

Giday will also give her a run for her money though. She's the WR holder after all.
In great conditions, money on Giday. She will absolutely not push her self to the limit in this oppressive weather. No pacers. No wavelights.
This will be interesting.
I think most would have said ahead of time that the 5000 was her best chance at gold, so I am not sure who these doubters are.
Yeah, disappointed by the performance of the Ethiopians, in both the Steeple and the women's 5K. They just played into Sifan's hand, just like the men's 5K/10K did for Farah in the last 2 olympics.
But after all, I take solace that Sifan, though wearing a Dutch uniform, is an Ethiopian :-). I must say, she is the only Ethiopian who changed nationality that has a major success. The other one that comes to mind is Elvan Abeylegesse, still a great athlete, but never won gold and also had some doping suspension that taints her achievements.
Doubters? There aren't many now who doubt that Hassan is totally doped. They won't have been silenced.

How would she be completely exhausted ?
The schedule isn't taking much out of her
This is beginning to look more doable except for 1500m gold
She will win all 3. In an Olympics filled with blatant PED use and cheater shoes, she is, without a doubt, the most talented. Too good to be true? It usually is.
Competitive running has become a parody of itself.
Maryam Jamal did pretty well.
As others have said, the biggest test will be the 1500m. Even if she comes up short and gets silver in the 1500m and silver or gold in the 10k, it would still be amazing. I hope she completes the triple with 3 golds though! I'll be rooting for her.

I also expected Tsegay to be more of a threat with her 1500m speed. The 10k is Hassan’s to lose but I think she will have trouble with Kipyegon in the 15.
