What’s her fastest time outside of America? Experience matters. You don’t know if nerves will play a factor too. The 2 Jamaican women have performed at the highest level on the biggest stage every time.
I’m rooting for Sha’carri as an American, but she hasn’t done anything on the pro level for me to have that type of confidence in her.

I’m sorry Sha’carri wasn’t winning any medal in this race. She probably would have placed 4th. Lol
+1 Saved by the weed.
Jamaicans probably smoking weed it helps performance. It's what Jamaica is known for. Biles should've smoked some to help with her twisties.

GTFO. Embarrassing ? They were there to win gold. Neither are ok with not winning. Their reaction was not throwing shade at ETH, it was because they were disappointed in their finish. Get a freaking clue man.
This was nothing short of amazing for Jamaica.
This. At first I thought this was bad sportsmanship but believe you are correct. What made Elaine better today? What’s her w/l record vs safp?
Hope they replay the mixed 4x4 tonight. Didn’t get to see it today. I remember the polish squad from worlds and am happy for them. Do US coaches not care about this event bc it’s new….?

Mu was born in New Jersey
I look forward to the Swiss receiving the medals in about 5 years.
This is probably the biggest decisional mistake the US will make in the games. It is a real Olympic event whether people want to recognize it or not. This is literally the US third team that they could have assembled when you consider people like Mu and Mclaughlin and Bednarek and Kerly and Holloway.

You post this like they are the only country likely doping. The freaking Swiss had 2 runners in the finals. American runners are at the top of the list for suspected dopers.
The fact is about 90% of these top sprinters are doping. So with that in mind, how does that diminish the Jamaican 123 finish? Everybody is doping thus it's an equal playing field.
Seven children and they claim that she is the one and only to be born in the US. It will always be a question in people's minds.
Maybe if it was after the individual events. The first team probably didn’t want to risk their individual medal chances. Maybe Felix would have been a better choice?
I think Richardson would have been in the mix, most likely a podium spot. I don’t think she could have run down ETH, but we will never know.

Also a dumb statement. They all doping. All of em. Nowadays it's just a matter of people getting careless or lazy. That's when they get caught.
Equal playing field.
basic 10.57?
USA mixed 4x4 deserved what they got. Should not have been there to start. They kept another deserving team from a medal.
Mu is US-born.
After the Swiss athletics federation wanted to appeal Alex Wilson’s ban despite it being clear he was doping, it’s impossible to trust their athletes are clean. Ponte has come out of nowhere. At least kambundji has form.
Imagine if I tell you that under cup A, you have a 99% chance of getting $1M or under cup B, you have a 33% chance of winning $1M. Oh, and you can choose cup A at 99% and also choose cup B but your chances for that one then drop to 25%. Anyone who can do math would choose cup A and cup B. But the US runners chose only cup B which is the worst choice of the three based on odds. Absolutely dumb not to run Holloway or Bednarek or Muhummad or Mclaughlin. It would have fit with their competition schedule perfectly. They forfeited a gold medal. I realize they have a good chance for a gold in their individual events but this would have had nearly no impact. How about the women in the actual 400? They are not going to win gold but could have won gold here.
Mu runs in the outside of the lane all the time. Did you see her 400 Pb. She was on the outside of the lane on the curves!
The flotrack guys are saying they should have thrown Felix in just to get a faster time.
But, what are the 4x4 mixed rules--are they allowed to put in people from other events? (Obviously, like Mu, Kerley, and the W400H hurdlers)?
