For the average influencer with same amount of followers, anywhere from 3-10k per post. Guessing higher end for Colleen since she’s a pro athlete and probably hugely influential to many young runners

If she was really about women empowerment she could have graciously congratulated the steeplers and given props to Val.
But nope. She needs validation and likes and comments. She'll likely pull a pappas.
Shows how insecure and lacks authenticity.
If I was starving for attention, I wouldn’t forego my opportunity to run on national television, personally.
There’s an “unfollow” button on Instagram, folks!

Is it just me or does this all seem suspicious? She's not acting like a pro athlete yet is paid like one. Perhaps she came to a plea deal to "retire" and her positive test is not made public?
Why do idiots like you always ASSume people are doping. Glad to see u got your law degree

Calling it now…Colleen will become a Peloton run instructor in the next 3 years. Perfect career move - pays well and relies on big social media presence
Lulu owns Mirror. She won’t compete against her brands competitor.
However, She is likely making as much being a “spokesperson” for Lulu as well as a model as she ever did as a runner. She has a big social media presence and she’s very pretty.
I doubt she was doping.

Wait a minute here.
It has already been established here that she beat convicted a doper, but she isn't doping herself? NOW THAT IS TALENT!
Is she really that talented, next level? I mean, if she stays in it, would she eventually break all SH's records? (1500m and 5000m)?!?!?!
The going rate for influencer posts is $100 per 10k followers. So with only follower count considered, she would be getting around $2,500 per post. But other things like engagement (how many ppl interact with your post in relation to your follower count), and being a pro athlete can also affect that rate. I would imagine she's probably getting more depending on the company

Okay yeah, interesting. I originally looked up Iowa State because I follow their Women's Basketball team and they have a good player, guessing somewhere around the 150th best player the country or so, who has 10K followers.
She has a newsletter?
Exactly. I'm getting the feeling people here are trying to slowly move her into a made-up category. She is not a back of the packer who happens to be pretty. She's at her peak age wise and has already run as fast as the winners of the Olympic trials steeple. She is elite in the steeple chase. Let's hope she's truly just nursing an injury and comes back and makes it all interesting again. She has more to give. It's just whether it's still a priority.

Couldn’t it just be a “tough day” in that the track world is celebrating the steeplechase team she isn’t on? I’m sure that’s tough to see.
Yes. Awful take by the OP
Is it just me or does this feel like we're watching the slow motion destruction of a human being?

this tweet from lulu responding to quigley sounds like a warning more than anything else. That this is meant to be a hold not a break.
"Putting your dreams on hold is never easy. We're inspired by your strength, and we'll always be here for those virtual bear hugs."

Quigley acts as if she’s an Olympic medalist but the reality is she isn’t ready for prime time.
So many loose ends she can’t seem to tie up; from her never ending injuries to her insufferable personality online, to the growing number of people she’s pissed off professionally.
1. She isn't any prettier than runners like Coburn, Schweizer, Houlihan, and Cranny. I personally think Schweizer is the prettiest female runner out there.
2. Just because she has an Instagram following doesn't mean she doesn't take running seriously and isn't having a hard time dealing with not competing in the trials.
3. She's a better runner than anyone who is criticizing her on here.
It is funny how many posters immediately jump to insulting posters about their times. Do you think the best coaches were the best athletes?
lol do you identify as colleen Quigley's coach?

e.
quigley was literally a professional beautiful person.
She was literally paid money because of her one in c.10 million good looks.
No one else in track and probably no one else you've ever met in person has had that kind of attractiveness.
Of course, it's done some damage to her, as it often does to people in that league.
No one in track has ever been as good looking? I literally just saw multiple women working at the local mall who are better looking than her. Modeling is something most people don't go into, but there are many who could.
With that said, she is pretty, which I never debated, I just think the criticism of her is based around her looks, as if because she is pretty, she doesn't care about running. It's weird.
Have you seen Emily Sisson? Shes gorgeous and petty much in the same tier than Quigley. And considering she has not attitude and no #sponsored feed I prefer her by a lot.
