Colleen's instagram has been hinting at something big dropping and she just pasted that it's a very tough day but I can't seem to find anything that she's actually updated, anybody subscribe to her newsletter?

She is hinting at retirement.
Has she actually announced it? Everyone seems to be acknowledging it without her having actually said anything
After watching the SC final last night I couldn’t help but think that Colleen dodged an embarrassing bullet when she scratched. 3rd place in 9:18, there’s no chance Quigley was in that kind of shape. Her PR is 9:10 and that was when she was at peak training with BTC. She may have a few niggles and aches and pains but I am thinking more and more she scratched to save face.
It would be an excellent social campaign if she announced retirement , then in January announce a big comeback , and return to racing . Product promotion and social media do not like status quo.
Couldn’t it just be a “tough day” in that the track world is celebrating the steeplechase team she isn’t on? I’m sure that’s tough to see.

short of an injury why cant she do 910 again? She isnt exactly old. How do you know what shape she was in? Hope she doesnt retire. Got some good rivalries to watch if she comes back full on.
Is it just me or does this all seem suspicious? She's not acting like a pro athlete yet is paid like one. Perhaps she came to a plea deal to "retire" and her positive test is not made public?

Since Quigley’s steeple PR, she’s run an indoor mile PR of 4:22.86 for a national championship, out-kicking Shelby Houlihan in the process. Who can say what shape she’s in now, but it’s silly to suggest she’s not capable of keeping up with that Trials pace.

Thats definitely a possibility, she also had an insta story that she was "writing down some thoughts", don't know if it's just drama because it's hard to watch the trials or something else
Do we think there's a possibility she got busted doping as well. And we get a dramatic apology from her side and she'll throw Shelby and the BTC under the bus? She might be trying to be the good guy in this scenario. She ran last in February and beat Schweizer and Cranny in that race...

doubtful.
She hasn’t said much (anything?) about Shelby’s suspension, but she has been supporting the rest of the team at the Trials.
In any event, a dramatic retirement or mea culpa doesn’t really make sense for someone who’s just signed onto a multi-year deal with a brand new sponsor.
If I had to guess, we’ll just get some more details about some health issues and thoughts on how a lot of big changes complicated her build-up to the Trials.
Maybe she’ll touch on Shelby’s case, but I doubt it’d be much more than “I take anti-doping seriously but personally never saw anyone crossing any lines.”
Personally, I think it would be strange for Colleen to dope. She has a lot of earning potential outside of professional running and one foot out the door. Seems silly to risk that when she’s already doing well without the pressure of performance bonuses, etc. that might entice a more singularly focused athlete like Shelby.
I don’t think she’s hinting at anything? She’s probably upset because of missing trials and being injured. She’s not retiring, and when she’s healthy she is very quick.
…why the heck do you care; what’s the fascination?!

Is this the second rumored positive from the btc team?
No

A plea deal 😂
That’s not how it works.

Ehhhhhhh, I wouldn’t be too sure of that.
Notice that Salazar’s whistleblowers weren’t charged and Steve Magness remains an NCAA coach in good standing.
Hi bio on Lululemon said, For Quigley, it's always been about more than the run, blah blah blah.
Perhaps they don't care if she runs or not, so doesn't.

None of them returned positive tests.
If Quigley has a positive test there won’t be a plea deal. It’s fictional nonsense.
