being upset with a public workout = mistake?? if i ever had a bad workout it's a learning experience on what i need to work on, and maybe mr. jerry wanted to see what centro needs to work on 2 weeks before the trials
DOING the workout so publicly is the mistake. Entering yourself into 3 heats of an event is stupid. Lots of athletes jumped in and out of heats to get extra work in, they didn't enter themselves officially for all the world to see. Engels ran an entire heat of the 5K clocking around 14:44ish but the results don't show because he never entered the race. Pete just told him to do it so he did. He also ran part of the next 5000 as well. Actually entering yourself was arrogant and it was done because he thought he would win and wanted everyone to see it. Those are facts. Normal people don't do stupid sh#t like that, they just do the extra work without needing the spotlight.
