How long does the NBA ban for drug offenses?

Running up into the crowd and beating the $hit out of an innocent man? Oh wait, we do know that one. 86 games, right Ron Artest?
Apples and oranges. So fans should be able to throw objects at players and not suffer any repercussions? Is that what you're saying here? You're upset the stupid fan was banned for life? Dumb@ss.
Where exactly in my post did I say fans should be allowed to throw things at players? Where did I say a ban wasn't justified? I compared the way the NBA (and other sports organizations) ignore problems by the players bit then give fans the death penalty. Ron Artest runs up into the crowd and randomly starting beating on a man (who turned out was completely innocent) and he gets an 86-game suspension, essentially one season. An NFL player tests positive for steroids and he gets an 8-game suspension, half of season. Ray Rice beats the crap out of his girlfriend and gets a two-game suspension. Fan throws a water bottle at a player and gets banned for life. If you think that is equal justice then you are the dumb@ss.
