Always right, let's hear the haters cry about it. I have more loser crying haters than anyone!

Meh.
I think it's fine. I don't see a single 1500 result for the guy ever before. He ran 45.69 for 400 on April 24th. This to me shows there is plan. Remember he doesn't have to worry agbout a trials or anything.
I had almost forgotten about this guy but if anyone is going to beat Brazier, it's most likely Amos.
David Rudisha says he will be giving it another go this year too, you know.
+1. Nothing against rojo, but seeing everyone forget about Amos and only think of Brazier is a bit tilting. Amos has 2x 1:41 and was the favourite for Doha had he not been injured. If he's fit, he should be the favourite with Brazier as 2nd fav. From what I've heard Rudisha was not training well during winter so I'd be surprised to see him back.
There is no way that Amos was 19 in 2012. Doha was 2 years ago now, and even if he is his stated age he will be 28 in Tokyo and on the circuit for 9 years. You can't bank on him being in 1:41 form in Tokyo just because he's ran a 3:45 1500m.

That makes 1 correct prediction out of 100s of wrong ones.
Always right. Right about the crying too! Look at you, boo hoo hoo. Loser.

There's another one! See? Loser!
Always right, everyone salty about it. Can't handle it. "oh yeah I think you were wrong once last year" lmao
I didn’t realize that Amos actually beat Rudisha once in a championship setting, Commonwealths 2014:
Amos’ final 100 is absolutely insane, he goes from being boxed to outsprinting Rudisha who looked like he had already broken away
Also, on a side note, the current Ugandan 1500 record holder, Musgala is in this race (though he didn’t do too well)

Amos ran 345 as a 16 year old.
Damn, his final stretch was insane... Probably most talented 800m runner of all time.

Yes this is one of the greatest closes in an 800 I’ve ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
I’m used to him dying on the last 100m lol. Definitely has another gear there tho
amos is probably the greatest talent ever.
44.9 400
and the 3:45 1500 at age 16.
and 141 at age 18.
and you know if he focused on either the 400 or the 1500.
the times would be much lower.
amos should take out the 600m record if he is in 141 shape.
And this post didn't age well! We are still waiting for Nijel Amos to run his first 800 of the season. He ran a 45.69 for 400 in April, and a mediocre 3:44 for 1500 in May. Amos has only raced the 800 one time in the last 22 months. And his time was 1:49.23 was less than impressive. If he was truly healthy and ready to win a medal in Tokyo, we would see him compete in competitive races. Until I see him race, I will assume Amos will disappoint again!

Amos was very likely not 18 in 2012, and very likely has never been clean.

Age of 18 doesn't exist in Africa. They count 12, 13, 14, 15, 24, 25...
Probably as clean as Coe, Coevett.
