What year is this? I thought that guy retired forever ago.
Today. someone who wasn't on many peoples mind, as if Australia didn't have enough young fast guys already....
More important, does he still have the rat-tail?
What shoes? 9 year old pb from someone of his age is quite incredible. Obviously, he must have done some superb training to get this result, but I still have to know...
Jamin, this should only take 5 min to get a spreadsheet of all the shoes he ever wore in his previous races and his current shoe choice for this race, Right?
boing! boing! boing! boing!
Last I remember from him was when he held his own against Rupp in the NCAA outdoor 5k back in 2009. Good for him.

This. Mad props for him getting the train back on the tracks.
OZ just crushing the depth!
Man now I’m expecting Josh McDougal to pop a 27:20

Nike, of course. It's on his Strava.
Yes, super shoes. But massive kudos to this guy for chasing the dream. He’s put in big training and had a great post on strava last week where he talked about giving it one last shot, going to Europe to chase the dream one last time, etc.
Inspiring for old guys everywhere.
Next up, Susan Kuijken!

She is now Susan Krummins and has been at every olympics and world championships since graduating FSU. She's run at least 14:53 for 5K and 31:05 for 10k, finishing 7th and 5th at worlds in 2019 and 2017 respectively (in 2017 also ran the 5k and finished a spot ahead of Rowbury, who was fresh). She also doubled in Rio but didn't place quite as high. She's only gotten better since college so not quite analogous to McNeill.
Great to see him running well again though, have always been a fan.

I love hearing stuff like this. The dude is in his prime. Excellent.
This is really inspiring! Great run David!

He is 34 not 44, come on!! Depending on years running, mileage down town etc 34 is not old for open runners
Outstanding to see him do this at 34 after seemingly disappearing from the radar for years. Maybe Tegenkamp or Solinsky or Webb will be back next.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Guys between age of 45 and 55 do you think about death or does it seem far away
