Vaccines wor extraordinarily well, so why force the vaccinated to continue to endure primitive virus containment strategies like masks?
Science does not support this policy. The CDC are vaccine denialists.

This one will be good. Thread title with false premise. Covid. Appeal to authority fallacy.
Remind me when the CDC used their executive authority (ha) to issue a mask mandate... ever?
Love these - keep em coming!

You underestimate how dumb we all are.
Cases are falling fast. Wait a few weeks and we will be under 10k cases per day in the USA if trend continues.
I think the concern is that we don't fully understand the level of sterilizing immunity, we don't have the level of vaccination of UK or Israel, and we have a pretty high circulating caseload still.
On a side note, any see the argument that the constitution may require vaccine passports?
The idea is that the government may only take the least restrictive measures to achieve a necessary outcome when making laws. Blanket bans of gathering, worship, etc, may have been necessary when nobody was vaccinated, but there is no rationale for restricting the rights of vaccinated people now. Thus, they are compelled to roll back restrictions for vaccinated folks.. provided they can show proof.
Vaccine passports are Libertarian Actually
Lol remember in the early phase where the CDC shamed people for buying or "hoarding" masks because they claimed masks were ineffective, and only hospital workers needed them?
Then in turn mandated them weeks later LoL

You are all idiots.
The CDC never said that.
But I am sure somebody in the Fox"News" network made up BS like that.
Get your vaccine and shut up!

And they would continue falling fast even if the CDC and all the liberal states dropped all mask mandates and restrictions tomorrow.

I might buy the vaccine passport idea if vaccines were only ~70-80% effective and you really were relying on group-level immunity to provide individual protection, but with a ~100% effective vaccine, it doesn't matter what anyone else around you does. You're vaxxed, you're Covid-proof, end of story, and any good libertarian knows there's nothing in the world more important than MYOFB.

...is this guy really serious? The CDC 1000% advised against public mask wearing early in the pandemic, based on a century of research showing that masking the general public does no good whatsoever.
I would like Rochelle to boss me around.

Rojo himself titled a thread along the lines of, "What the h***? Fauci is lying to the public again."

No, the CDC absolutely publicly was against people hording the N95 masks and said they should be for medical people only and ordinary people didn't need them. They were wrong. It was early days and nobody knew what they were dealing with... we've come a long way since then. It's allowable to make mistakes, especially with a new virus that people really didn't understand how it was spreading. To be clear, I believe wearing masks is a very good idea and I find them minimally invasive. i actually think everyone should have N95 masks.
In any event - here is the clip from March 26, 2020 with Dr. Redfield from the CDC clearly saying that people didn't need masks. Oops.

Every ruling of the new Supreme Court has supported religion over the rest of the population. It used to be that the government could make laws/mandates that affected everyone and did not target a single religion. The new court reversed all the precedent, decades of it, and now religious people have more rights than non-religious people in the USA.
Thanks republicans.
