Is horrible. I don't know why people would hire her.
Did anyone else listen go her yesterday?

I did, and although I've never been a Kara fan I thought she did quite a nice job.
I'm usually critical of some of the "ex-athlete-commentators" that get a chance to provide color in T&F. Although she tries to cram a lot of info into her reports sometimes, i think she is doing ok for her first pass.
I've heard worse.
I am not a fan of hers, but she was better than the screeching from the MN commentator.
I am surprised it took this long for this thread to emerge.
She's great. The occasional stumble, but she's new and will get better.

Except it didn’t.
https://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=10548516&page=3I knew people would complain about 'how bad she is', so I listened to her even more closely. She did not do a terrible job, she was perfectly fine. She had good input to the 800/1500 meter races, and left the sprints discussion to Alto who is a sprint coach.
Summary: She did a fine job, and anyone complaining will complain about anything.
I enjoyed her commentary.
She did a great job. I hope she comes back for more- and at the Olympics.
Like her or not, she did a good job.
Why did you find it horrible? I thought she did fine.
I was not her biggest fan as an athlete but I think she’s doing well as a color commentator.
I thought she did a great job. She had relavant info about the athletes, did good with the play by play. Her love and excitement for the sport could be heard.
I thought she was solid as well. Well done Kara, I'm a fan!
Who was doing the play-by-play? He didn't have a great outing.
She did a good job. Treated the audience with respect.
No "go down to the track dun a 400m at X pace" references. Y'all have no idea what the old timer fans had to endure back in the day with commentators.
Agree. Go listen to Carol Lewis
And I need to praise Richards for her comments on the 800 at Oregon.
Something like "people always say to fast 400 runners you can run a fast 800. Its slow for you. You just slow down and run two laps. Wrong. Its much more than that. Running an 800 requires a lot of hard work."
I liked her at Mt Sac . Every other phrase in eugene was how "excited" someone was to be racing.
Much better yesterday.

He was poor and made major mistake in talking about Nikki Hiltz coming out as transgender, non-binary and then referred to Hiltz as "she" and "her" right after. That's a rojo level mistake.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
