Oh boy, this should go over well.
See this is how normal, logical people think and act. Telling people they have to get a vaccine or else theyre an evil, selfish, covid-denying Trumpet is cult-like, conformist insanity.

Yes. Good Americans conform.
Did a lot of you just smoke marijuana for class and call it good?
What a bunch of baloney.
Get vaccinated and keep your mask on!
And by the way, get the freaking vaccine.

But ther IS a personal benefit for getting the vaccine. If you aren't aware of that, then you aren't scientifically informed.
The push to get everybody vaccinated also decreases the opportunity for the propagation of more strains that might even affect younger people more. Instead of freaking out about suspicions over hidden motives for mass vaccinations, which is a sad joke, why don't you freak out about the next pandemic (s)? We all know that even if we stop covid19 dead in its tracks for the US, that foreigners flying in with new strains could start the whole pandemic response all over again.
If you have already gained natural immunity from being exposed to the virus, as almost everyone who didn't completely hole up in their houses to avoid human contact has, then the vaccine is going to be useless to you.the science of other sars viruses indicates one should have t-cell immunity to the virus for decades. the only people who should be getting vaccines at this point are the old and obese who have not been infected at this point. Forcing or coercing others to get a vaccine that is useless to them is not "moral" whatsoever.
BS
No science backs that up.
None.

The term “liberal” is derived from LIBERTY, which I am in favor of. My position is the liberal one. Authoritarianism is conservative.

Weird that you teach at a school but didn't know that people become immune to viruses, this is like 3rd grade science. Not only that, you actively deny the science behind it, perhaps because it goes against the strange cultist ideology about covid that has formed.
You're not medically, academically, virologically or epidemiologically qualified enough to suitably ascertain what I do or don't know nor are you genetically trained enough for me to believe anything you say regarding an RNA based respiratory virus.
Just shut up.
qualified enough is redundant
hey stop it--- do you ever check your blood pressure before you come on lets run then a few minutes into your rants? it might even change your heartrate. is it healthy to be a loose cannon with a hair trigger? even when larping?
Ah.
Glad to see that you are reduced to backing others ' arguments.
What happened to the tough guy with all of my visible information from a half-hour ago.
Oh. Yeah. I didn't back down. And no..i don't
You're both wrong.
No. I'm not afraid of my blood pressure or heart rate.
I've never had hypertension nor arrhythmia.
You do the math. If I have been exploding at people on the internet, in public, or when I feel I've been wronged for the last 29 years since I turned 18..with the constant ebb and flow of raised blood pressure and heart rate...
And the fact that I can go quickly in strenuous workouts from 104 bpm to 171 and quickly back to 110 or less...
I'm not scared.
I love being a loose cannon and it's important for me to keep it.
I don't know what larping is. That's your word.
I'm concerned about inflammation of the heart when I push very hard during my intervals.

murfree or san marcos or ucsb etc etc
you did beat opra in the marathon so good job there.
A) wouldn’t say anyone is better off not getting the vaccine unless they have a specific medical contraindication
B) my reading of kant’s moral philosophy would say that you should get the vaccine (would the world be better off if everyone without a contraindication got the vaccine? Yes. Therefore I should volunteer)
Perhaps you have another source for your view on ethics. I don’t really see any explanation of how we SHOULD approach ethics in your post, just an attack on religion.
Jesus, Brojos delete this thread. This dude is drunk off of his rocker
I’m making a rational, self interested decision not to get vaccinated. I am not at risk of Covid, so a vaccine is of no benefit to me, and the possibility of adverse effects makes the risks outweigh the benefits. I am not going to expose myself to the risk of harm unnecessarily for the sake of protecting others who are vulnerable when they could vaccinate themselves. My view is the rational one, and because it is in line with reality, it actually has a better results for everyone, including the vulnerable. Liberalism means you believe in reason and individualism, and reject the arbitrary claims of authoritarians who call you a science denier if you reject their authority and the divine right the claim to make your medical decisions for you.
