Just heard about this, planning on watching it very soon (Rojo even makes a brief appearance). Figured some of you would be interested in seeing the trailer:

This is freaking awesome! Ever since the arrival of Galen Rupp in the early 2000s, I've been anti-Salazar and everyone who surrounds him. Been pro-Jerry and obsessed with the idea of NOP cheating for a really long time.
As I've gotten older, it's clear that I've looked at him, his team, and their performances with extreme bias. How much much of this is us wanting the so-called "bad guy" to lose vs. a real credible case of cheating? And if that is indeed the case, how bad do we suck for making this guy's life a living hell the last several years?
Nike was quick to dump Lance, Manny, and others in the case of credible evidence and wrong-doing. In this case, they'd probably get more publicity by severing ties vs. continuing relentless support.
Can't wait to see an alternative take on the narrative we've created in the last two decades.
Is this on Prime ?
Sounded like wejo to me. But I can't tell them apart.
Looks like this film will be doing the festival circuit at least initially. It is playing in Toronto at Hot Docs. https://boxoffice.hotdocs.ca/websales/pages/info.aspx?evtinfo=141717~367cbc04-eb03-453a-90f8-88ca48c4cf79&epguid=da382742-ea7c-44b6-ab36-80af94cedc7f&

Dang it looks like you have to be within Canada to stream it, was hoping I could watch it as soon as it came out!
Anyone know when this will be available in the US. Looks super interesting.
This post was removed.
Not sure the random shot of Chad Johnson, well over a decade after he has retired, was fair.
And must we continue with the delusion that Malcolm Gladwell knows anything about high-level athletics? He's a nearly sixty year old mildly obsessive jogger with no wife and kids who has takes for a living. The quality of these non-running takes should not have any influence on whether or not he is called upon to have athletics-related takes. They are all bad. The guy clearly does not understand the highest level of the sport. People who dope are people whose bodies can't keep up with their ambition. Their minds exceed their bodies so they bridge the gap with chemicals. Think about all the football guys you knew in high school who took steroids ... did they do this so they could spend less time lifting weights? Hell no.
Why are we excited about a trailer about a movie that didn’t include a SINGLE person actually involved. And seeing Gladwell, a Salazar apologist... yawn.
Here, I talked to filmmaker Paul Kemp about the documentary, it's around 30 minutes....in video and podcast.
It's a fascinating discussion (not me) listening to the work he put into getting a whole different perspective on Alberto Salazar and Nike Oregon Project. He talks to a lot of people who all the readers here are familiar with.

Agreed, Gladwell is an insufferable hack -- his clip in that preview is the most idiotic take of all. Nobody has ever thought that dopers work less hard, most of the time the point of the drugs is that you can work harder without breaking down. What an absolute moron.
I'll probably watch this, but are we going to find out anything new at this point? I doubt it.
As an aside, I always picture WeJo as larger than this when I'm listening to the podcast. I don't know why, but I'll stop.
+1. It's such a dumb take that its inclusion as a 'trailer highlight' makes me question the whole endeavor.
Christ, I can already tell Gladwell's interview is going to absolutely infuriate me.

Thinking about downloading a VPN to stream it on Thursday
Why on earth has the sport given Malcolm Gladwell, a guy who writes milquetoast pop-psychology for your mom's book club, a podium to speak from?

How is a documentary about Salazar a big bet for a company worth about $120B?
