Okagbare with the win. Wow! Didn't expect that. Then again, she is rather inconsistent.
They were running into a headwind in the 200m, so presumably also in the 100m. Also, cooler temps than sprinters need to really dial it up.

Well how did the race play out? What did Lyles run?
Bromell got a huge start and won convincingly. Lyles 2nd, a good .15 back.
NBC using a split screen showing TJ and steeple and now a commercial and the steeple might be the story of the meet

I think I saw -.2 for the wind.
Updike pulling away with 400 to go. Looks like a qualifier. Hopefully a few under 8:22.
Looks like they’re going slow in the steeple? Cant really tell thought I don’t know marks or splits.
They were all looking around at the start, waiting for someone to lead.
Can Rogers defend her home field against Reekie?

I was wrong. On 8:23 pace with 2 laps to go. Dialed down from 8:28 pace earlier in the race.

....nope. The Brits (Tracey & Reekie) took her in a tactical race. Looked like Rogers was looking to keep opening 400 even slower. Was in great position but just couldn't hang.
Tracey kinda cute.
I was impressed by Updike's kick, looked to be 58 for the last 400ish of the steeple, pretty quick for a big 8:17 pr.
Michael Saruni absolute boss move taking the W in a long sleeve

Not sure why Hunter stayed so far back so long
Agreed, that was terrible positioning saved by a great finish.
I noticed a lot of people using the dragonfly in that 800. I'm not sure I saw a single pair of victories. Is the dragonfly the go to?
Air Zoom Vics from Peralta
Seems like its preference - the guys who move up to 3000m seems to like the Dragonflies for all events
