What happened to Feyisa Lilesa who made that rebel sign when placing 2nd in 2016? Can he safely go back and do the trials?

If Tirunesh’s name is added, I would place her just behind Aga. Just like Berlin 2018 when they were second and third just 17 min after Kipchoge set the current WR.
Next woman may be Mare Dibaba who has run her PB of 2.19.52 twice. Was ranked by T&FNews as the world’s best in 2015, the year Mare won Worlds and was second in Boston. Won bronze in Rio then second in Berlin in 2019.
The field is reduced to six women and Mare has switched to run in Geneva. I wonder how determined Dibaba will be to have a big, quick win?

4 Lemma
5 Desisa
and
1 Dereje
2 tie betw Azimeraw and Tigist Girma
4 Bekere

Legese and Wasihun supposedly injured so for me the three becomes Geremew, Kitata, and Lemma.

Who may be next and just miss out on the trip: winner of London last year or the man who was third in both majors last year; Tokyo and London?
I have Shura Kitata ahead of Sisay Lemma.
More then 16 months ago, i wrote the following about Sisay Lemma:
Next man is Sisay Lemma, 29 tomorrow {12/12} and ranked 13. Stunning his redemption after a poor 30th In Boston. Third in Berlin in 2.03.36. Here is my profile from then:
If you can forgive his finish in Boston, Sisay Lemma may be next. More soon.
He is 28yo and ranked 21. Had three magnificent marathon performances last year: 5th Dubai, second Prague, then smashed the course record in Ljubljana by 3.20. In that last event, was in a pack of 11 at 10k, then reeled off three consecutive 5k splits of 14.35, 14.32, and 14.31 to crack it right open. Those three marathons caused him to be rated 8th for the year by this site.
I know Herpes only means "snakes" in Greek and likely something completely different in Amharic, but there will be much mirth if Herpes Nagasa wins.

With all these sub 2.04 men, will they finish 35k around 1.40?

Fifth should be Birhane Dibaba
Following is my profile from early last year when Birhane was running Tokyo:
Next woman might be Birhane Dibaba, 26yo and ranked 36. I knew she was building to something big when third in Valencia last December in 2.18.46. Dibaba was ninth in London in April then won the Copenhagen half in September in 65.57. Ran here five consecutive years 2014-18, only six women finished ahead of her across those marathons. In the last of those, Birhane dipped nine seconds under 2.20 in winning.
Congrats to Birhane, Tigist, and Roza on earning their trip to Tokyo

A Swiss website called it a shock team for Tokyo. No shock to those who know.

I ranked them 8, 10, and 18 at the end of last year with mostly Kenyans above them. No surprise. They will give the big 4 (3 Kenyans and an Israeli) a run in Sapporo.
