WHO YESS HOLLY ARCHER SILVER.
someone's going to get DQ'd
First half of the w1500 was unwatchable. Then Archer nabs silver.
No!!! HA DQ?
Ummm ok. Have you ever hear of Jakob Ingebritsen?
Inevitably she has now got a DQ too which is absurd it was almost record breaking the amount of shoving.
I ran against some guys who would get disqualified in every single indoor race they ran under current rules. It was sometimes brutal.
I think you could maybe get rid of 4-5 ppl in that race if you're doing it like that.

He was stepping inside the "rail".
He was reinstated because he was considered to be pushed.
LateRunnerPhil has a completely different explanation!
But watch the race yourself on youtube
The incident starts just before the second curve at around 0.15

Even the winner was giving a bit half way through the race. I certainly don't think she should be DQed though.

Yeah, he got Gjert to come out onto the track before the heat and give them all a serious talking to. Didn't go down too well.

Sorry I misunderstood you.
I haven´t heard about any yellow card and I can´t see that the Norwegian net medias have written about it.
I watched the race and saw nothing wrong. Jakob went to front from start.
Foppen broke away and Gressier followed.
Just before the finish Jakob and Kimeli who held Jakob´s back throughout passed poor Foppen.

The yellow card was issued in the 1500m for "unsportsmanlike behavior" (he pushed the Polish runner and grabbed him on his shirt). The yellow card will now be listed on all future races in the same event (Indoor championship), and means that if he does a similar thing again, he will receive a red card.
He did nothing wrong in the 3000m, it's just still displaying the Yellow card he received during the 1500m event as warning.
Femke Bol is gonna win the Olympic 400h if Muhammad and McLaughlin aren’t careful. Blew the field away with a 50.63 today, and look how well she’s been running in the last year: https://worldathletics.org/athletes/netherlands/femke-bol-14707010
