Was what Lance did a federal crime?
I honestly don't know.
POTUS can only pardon federal crimes.
Lance "stole" money from the US tax payer. He should have paid his money back from his Postal years but he didn't.
The US Postal Service is not funded by taxpayer dollars.

OJ was convicted of several crimes. That is why he went to jail....

Normally I would say no. But Lance is different. Lance founded Livestrong, which has raised 500 million bucks for cancer research. And he's given millions of people something money can't buy --- hope. I say Lance is square with society at this point.
livestrong does not raise money for cancer research.
Why?
It doesn't change his access to cycling contests etc.
Doesn't invite him to the TDF
Who cares?
Do the crime, serve the time

I bought an Olympic medal on eBay.
People say its cheating but everyone in the Olympics cheats anyway. We all do what we have to.
I display the medal on my wall. In my mind I have the win.
This is the sort of logic and intelligence that makes this message board so much fun.
There was a local runner years ago who would go to an awards shop and have a little trophy made for himself after every race regardless of how he placed. Had a trophy room in his house where he proudly displayed them all.

The videos of Lance winning 7 TDFs are out there. Every stage. You can't say the same.
There is no "level playing field" anywhere. A select few are born with tremendous genetic advantages. Different natural abilities for lactate threshold, VO2 max, wattage, etc.
Kudos to Lance, tbh. He used EPO, testosterone, and blood doping and a ton of hard work to get to the top against guys who also were using EPO, testosterone and blood doping.
Lance trained harder.
Having said that - Armstrong doesn't need a pardon for anything, and last I checked he's an anti-Trump, SWJ, anti-police guy, so I don't see any reason Trump will pardon him.
Assange: yes.
Snowden: yes.
Armstrong: n/a.
You all know there is only one criterion for whether you get a pardon and that is what did you do for the orange sh*tbag overstaying his welcome in the WH. It is all about Trump.
No
Lance is doing fine. He cashed in on UBER along time ago. He is not in Prison. His past crimes are not effecting his current lifestyle. Lance should go to God for forgiveness not the President for a Pardon.
