SMH....So if said coach can coach the 100m, 200m, 400m and 400H as well as put together successful 4x1 and 4x4 relays consistently why hasn't he? Does the current and previous head coach instruct him only to recruit and coach 110 hurdlers?
Is it really a track & field program if you only do the 1500, Steeple, 5K, 10K and 110H?
About 5 years ago we had an athlete who directly heard it from the Syracuse sprint coach - 1 scholarship allocated to him to work with. He would give a full to a hurdler most often and recruit walk ons.
That's the side you can't know and is hugely impactful to his "success". He's a wonderful coach but it's 70k+ to attend Syracuse. That's the reality for a lot of NCAA coaches!
