Never wait to visit loved ones. You will regret it.
What pandemic?
It will never be safe. It's your life. You do you boo.
You can drop dead any day. Live while you have the chance bro.
You're talking about a country which was founded on the principle of liberty. And, you're talking about a disease which has less than 1% death rate for the who are healthy. I'll take those odds any day of the week.

You never know if the pilots are healthy or sober. There is great risk that a mechanic didn’t reassemble the engine correctly after an overhaul. There could be a bird strike during takeoff. The pilot might slam the aircraft into a mountain or land on a closed runway.
Eventually flying will be 100% risk free and totally safe. It’s probably best to wait until then.
This is a good troll. I expect to see this on the front page for days to come!

Bravo.

That's a good point about drunken pilots. Those guys fly drunk all the time. I was on a United flight to Chicago about two years ago, and the drunk-ass pilot accidentally keyed the cabin mic and started singing Van Halen at 32,000 feet. Fortunately, these planes nowadays practically fly themselves, so it doesn't matter as much that the pilot is bombed.
What else are you supposed to use airplanes for?

I heard an infectious disease doctor say that if the odds of winning the lottery were that high (1%), he'd play it every day of his life.

Lotteries have limited upside. One could argue the downside for COVID is infinite
Buy a $1 lottery ticket daily with a 1 in 100 chance to win $1m. You would be a fool not to. The real odds of dying of Covid are 1 in 100,000 if under 50, 1 in 1 million if under 30, and only 1 in 1000 if over 70.

Sure buddy. Sure.
If by “win $1 million” you mean “die.”
Bro. And to every liberal. This is NOT a pandemic to the skinny and or young.
If you’re fat, or unhealthy, good luck. Doctor has been telling you to get healthy for years. Sorry to say it, but sucks to be you right now. Don’t ruin our lives because you ate too many donuts.
It is amazing at how bad people are at assessing risk. You get into a car without hesitation. You walk up and down stairs. You walk in and out of a shower. You drink. You eat bad food. Your chances of dying from Covid are 10% of your chances of dying of something else. Even the chance of dying of Covid can be greatly reduced by losing weight. I wonder how many people went on crash diets and ramped up their outdoor activity to help lose weight and boost vitamin D. Not many but they gladly locked away and put a mask on. Sort of like taking medication for high blood pressure instead of losing weight.

Which is why the coronavirus is running rampant in the USA as everyone wants to do their own thing. Countries that took a hard L/D back in March are doing well now in controlling the virus.
They are basically back to normal while the US languishes as one of the worst countries in the world due to everyone exercising their own personal liberty and freedoms as they see fit.
