An Old Fashioned is good, but they will charge you more. It has more ingredients and takes a little time to make, but in the end it's a mixed bourbon drink,
Order that in a fancier setting.
Now if you order a bourbon on the rocks, be ready if the bartender asks what bourbon.
It's best to look at what they have first and ask for that.
Fore example, bourbon on the rocks - Bulleit. Or say Bulleit on the rocks.
If you say whatever they could give you Jim Beam or maybe they will give you something expensive. But the default is their rail or cheaper stuff if you don't specify.
