not really a beer drinker at the bar, what is the manliest drinks to order without spending a ridiculous amount?

Boilermaker
Old Fashion or a Moscow Mule are my favorites to get at a bar
Water mixed with ice.
Shirley Temple. They’re delicious!
Whiskey on the rocks is pretty manly. Albeit terrible.
Moscow mule is delicious. And probably an acceptable amount of manliness. Maybe even with gin an tonic. Which is also pretty good.
Whiskey and ginger beer is really good too.
Or get a pina colada but ONLY if it has the umbrella.
The less manly drinks with fruity colors actually cost more.
Order a whisky sour or bourbon on the rocks.

It's not manly to be an illiterate oaf.
Martini, Manhattan, old fashioned. That said, it's pretty unmanly to order a drink based on how manly you think it will make you look.
Whiskey ginger.

This. A drink going down into a sunken chest sitting on top of chicken legs will always look like a Zima, no matter what's in the glass. Confidence, attitude, and demeanor makes you manly, not the beverage.
gin and tonic

Real men don't drink, it's terrible for you hormonally, reduces your sperm count and gives you manboobs.
Don't be a manboob.
The answer is: J.T.S. Brown
If you buy something interesting that may indicate you have personality and not a penny pincher because women generally don't like cheap men, that's a plus. Something like a Shirley Temple drink or even some sophisticated mixed drink will do. Could strike up a conversation with a hot piece about the drink and buy her one too. Gets a foot in the door and the fact you're buying the drinks for people helps accentuate your pull game too.
Martini if you’re at a nice dinner or fancy party. Looks a little weird at a bar/club.
Gin and tonic is a solid choice, but they are pricey if you want good gin and especially good tonic.
Old Fashioned - I think Mad Men brought that back in style.
That said I haven’t had a drink in 100 days, but I used to drink a lot.
I haven't drank alcohol since March. I quit after drinking about 10 times in 2021 because each time I felt unwell.
If you think your manliness influences the drink you choose or vice-versa, that's pathetic.
probably vodka straight
