Congrats, you guys scored 1 point in the DMR, in the weakest year due to XC nationals and your international runner bailed you out. Hope you guys show up to Drake...
Love how you act like no other team has international runners.
Here are the HS personal bests of Miami's DMR
Sean Torpy - 1:47/4:03
Luke Finnegan - 21.81/47.54
Andrew Schroff 1:56/4:15/15:30
Chris Torpy - 1:49.8/4:05
Here were the splits:
2:56.51
47.48
1:49.37
4:01.83
The Torpy's are 5th years. So basically they got stud athletes and 5 years later they are running the same times they did in high school.
Scoring points at the national meet, also known as All-American. The international runner also didn’t run the DMR. Next, thank you.
Chorny raised Finley McLear from birth to be an 800 runner. All credit goes to Miami OH for his second place finish.

Miami has become one of the best middle distance groups in the country. A meteoric rise that was ignited by a dominating performance by Stephen Biebelhausen in the 2017 MAC outdoor 1500m.
Several hot girls from my high school went to Miami

WRONG. The Torpy twins were freshmen already in 2017 and they were two of the best recruits in the nation for the class of 2016.
So what if the Torpys were already there in 2017? That race still could have been the first sign of things to come. Your logic is flawed.
It’s also flawed to assume that achieving a 4:01 is insignificant

The arrival of twins who have run 1:47 / 4:03 and 1:49/4:05 is a bigger sign of things to come than a senior winning a conference title with a 3:47 in the 1500 (worth about a 4:05 in the 1600). They even had a guy in 2017 go 6th in the nation in the 1500, but you are clearly Beibenhauser's mom so you don't care about Andrew Dusing.
Going from 4:05.4 in the open 1600 to 4:01.8 relay split is not a big deal after 5 years of training.
It's about a 2 second improvement in 5 years + the addition of supershoes.
Cole Hocker was slower in high school (1:50/4:07). But in 2 years he got down to 3:50 for the mile (3:49 for 1600).

There’s no doubt that the Torpy Twins should have improved more after 5 years of collegiate running.
That said, I made some choices and got worse in college - it happens ??♂️
With as much knowledge as you have on miami you’re clearly someone who got cut and never got over it. Adizeros are super shoes now?
Hocker is more of the exception than the rule don’t you think?
Torpys are unique in that you have a guy to train with through high school who is a 4:0x miler and 1:4X 800 meter runner. So they are going to be closer to their peak than other high school runners. Any improvement is impressive.
Yep Miami of Ohio is a joke. They SHOULDNT BE ALLOWED to have the same name as the U (Miami, Florida).
Adizeros being a super shoe is the newest Q’Anon theory

You do know Miami Ohio is the older one and has more students

It's arguably a better school also, even though it's a state school.
