They were the ultimate one hit wonders. Don't stop believing was the only song to make it big.
Everything else was only popular in a small number of countries - GB, USA, Canada etc
You go to any of the other 200 countries in the world and they will only have heard of Dont Stop Believing. -
I am not a fan of Journey. But I do acknowledge their massive appeal to many. Also that the members are top notch musicians. The one song of theirs I truly love is "Lights"...featuring the great Aynsley Dunbar on drums and a killer guitar solo from Neil Schon. "Lights" was originally written about Los Angeles, before Steve Perry changed the lyrics to reflect San Francisco. And I enjoy both of those cities :)
