Do Bates and D'Amato pull a Beardsley/Simonsen and finish in a tie holding hands?

Looks like no ties today.
D'Amato about to win convincingly. Maybe she gets the US 10 mile record for Women's only race next month?
1:09:57 for D'Amato and Bates also with a PR 1:10:43

Looks like 3 men going for it at end. Frank Lara leading!! Morgan, Scott Fauble just behind. Tight finish.
D'Amato is obviously doping. Very unrealistic progression and track times from her prime years that don't suggest this ability as a ceiling. Convenient that this progression comes when there is very little testing being done, not that she would even be in the USADA pool anyways.
Are you Jamin or Hardloper?
Tough to make out with the drone. 4 real tight at the finish! Morgan 62:15 1st Not bad for a Tri guy. Lara, Day, Fauble next within a second or two

I didn't watch the race. All you need to see are the times and compare to even a year or two ago, let alone her track career. At 35, it's not naturally possible to make this kind of progression this quickly, and it's not like she's suddenly just outworking every elite American female half/marathoner.

Wasn't she supposed to represent the US on World Half Marathon team? Your use of the word "obviously" is very telling.
Good run from Syd in 9th in 62:30. Mixed it up well with some established Pros and big talents like Day, a good return to form for a man who ran 13:29 at 21 years old in College

& chill with the doping talk unless you have proof.
where is the event website? I'd be interested to see what the course was like. Why can't I find out about these races until literally the week of the race?

Did we need proof to know that Makhloufi was doping? Of course not, and as with all dopers the proof is in the pudding. It's ridiculous to say everyone is clean until they fail a test, especially in the covid era with inadequate testing. D'Amato's progression is blatantly doped, especially at her age with her background. Her being American or a feel good story is not at conflict with the facts of her unrealistic times given her history.
I don't have a clue if she is or isn't. Dramatic improvements especially at 35 will raise some eyebrows. But is there that much to gain by doping to be the 8th or 10th best runner in the US? Sure, this year is unique, but come Olympic track trials, the US women are very deep.

Time for you to join the rest of the world and go on social media. Most people have known about this race for a while. It's been advertised in podcasts, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, pretty much any immediate source of info regarding running.
