Kipchumba does look good. Maybe on a colder, rainy, windy day, the bigger guy has it?

Kipchumba broke away first but Kitata chased him down and passed him decisively at the end.
Kipchoge runs a 2:06..."it's an off day". Why can't I have an off day like that??
That was an amazing finish.

Wow what a race! But also you can see the difference between Bekele and Kipchoge! Bekele would have dropped out shortly before the finish as soon as he knew he could not keep up with the front pack. Kipchoge took the L and finsihed it! Sportsman

With the stellar times we’ve seen the last years, we tend to forget how fast 2:05-2:06 really is.

He should have gone with the Next %
Moen (for Europe) in 2h09'25", 9th
Kipchoge washed up. Should announce his retirement at the press conference. Pitiful showing. Perhaps he can move up to the amateur ultra scene. I'd like to test myself against him at my local ultra. On this showing, he will be easy pickings.

We now know it takes more than a year to recover from a sub-2 Marathon.

What, run 6% slower than your PR on a bad day? I’m sure you’ve done just that.
