Article IV section 3 clearly states that Congress can add a state to the Union with 2/3 vote required and ratification by 3/4 of states.
Uncle Perve is wrong in his claim.
The hot pot beef guy is correct.

After the losses in 2008 and 2012 they redefined the party to be even more conservative. They are pretty far off to the right currently but there is still room to move over some more.
No, they didn't become more conservative after 2012. They became more authoritarian.
There is nothing conservative about being shameless power grubber with no conscience or decency. There is nothing conservative about weakening the Western Alliance and cozying up with the dictators. There is nothing conservative about being anti-trade, anti-foreign investment and anti-immigration. There is nothing conservative about abandoning fiscal discipline. There is nothing conservative about justifying sexual assault and harassment.
Ronald Reagan must be turning over in his grave. If he were alive today, he would have to switch back to being a Democrat, because he would not recognize the party he once led.
Hey look it's a retard.
The Senate tries to pass legislation against abortion

Far better they try to persuade first.
But ultimately McConnell isn't interested in that. Under Trump, it is about using power of the base and not reaching out. And use power of courts.
This is true and why McCain/Reagen conservatives do not like Trump.
George Will goes through this starting at 6:25 on this video.
Leftists try to portray Trump as "authoritarian" (while he negotiates international peace deals and withdraws troops globally), yet in my experience living in a blue state is that Trump has had ZERO negative effect on my personal liberty... if anything, advocating for free speech, freedom of movement and personal choice. Instead, ALL of the authoritarian and repressive behavior and diktats have come from so-called "liberal" governors, city officials and Big Tech censorship. When someone "doth protesteth too much", look a the accuser, not the accused. As the saying goes, when someone points an accusing finger, three fingers point back upon themselves. Trumps greatest achievement is exposing the hypocrisy and lies of those posing as liberals, who are in fact power-hungry totalitarians who demand nothing less than complete obedience and compliance.

Those are not peace deals. Trump is an exaggerator. Those are commerce deals. For example, when was the last time United Arab Emirates and Jews living in Palestine were in a shooting war against each other? I will know there is a real effort for peace when Jews living in Palestine begin returning land they stole to Arab Palestinians. Europeans Jews began stealing Arab Palestinian land in 1917, time of Soviet Revolution.

So it's a "beautiful sight" when a reporter (who has not broken any law in his job) is hit with a rubber bullet? Yeah, a great advocate for free speech!

I am certain that once the DemoBrats seize power, Trump will be jailed for expressing his opinion. I may not agree with his opinion (I didn't hear him say it and there apparently is nothing recorded or it would be on blast through all of the media, so we must rely on the Commintern News Network on it's oh-so-objective interpretation), but I defend his right to say it. THAT is EXACTLY what "free speech" is my dear.
Individual 1 will be jailed for campaign finance violation. His accomplice has already confessed the crime was committed at the direction of Individual 1. He tried to silence a porn star and a playboy model. Nothing to do with free speech.

Then why is Trump nominated for a NOBEL PEACE PRIZE????????
You exaggerate his statement: "I remember this guy Velshi," Trump said. "He got hit in the knee with a canister of tear gas and he went down. He was down. 'My knee, my knee.' Nobody cared, these guys didn't care, they moved him aside."
"And they just walked right through. It was the most beautiful thing," Trump said. "No, because after we take all that crap for weeks and weeks, and you finally see men get up there and go right through them, wasn't it really a beautiful sight? It's called law and order.""
Obama literally SPIED on conservative reporters and you liberals never said a word
Among other things: "In 2013, the Obama Justice Department labeled then-Fox News reporter James Rosen a “criminal co-conspirator” under the Espionage Act of 1917. And all because the reporter used a State Department contractor as a source for a story. Rosen was also labeled a "flight risk."
The Justice Department seized the records of at least five phone lines connected to Fox News. The federal law enforcement agency even seized the phone records of Rosen’s parents. The FBI also got a warrant to search Rosen's emails from 2010.
In May 2013, the Associated Press revealed that the Justice Department had secretly collected two months' worth of personal and work-related phone calls made by AP reporters and editors.
Federal officials secretly obtained records on incoming and outgoing calls made by specific AP journalists, as well as general news staff, the news group reported, potentially compromising many sources totally unrelated to the investigation. Federal investigators even collected data on calls made by AP reporters in the House of Representatives press gallery. "

15 of 17 have switched their positions.
Collins and Murkowski have kept their position.
Almost the entire party is hypocritical. Republicans have no morals.
Please learn critical thinking. Nominees don't get approved by the opposing Senate during an election year (only 1 of 10 in our nation's history). The bigger problem going forward is maybe it won't be possible for any nominee to ever get through at any time if the White House and Senate are not held by the same party.
If you think pointing our blatant hypocrisy with direct quotes isn't an intelligent response then bless your remedial soul.

Nobel family are a joke. Who cares what they do. Nobel prizes are a way to clean up the Nobel family name. 100 plus years ago Al Nobel was an international arms dealer.
Zionism is not established on a foundation of rigorous examination of evidence. Zionism is based on statements made by a Jewish man living in England over 100 years ago. He stated European Jews and Jews around the global can trace their roots to Palestine as opposed to what actually likely occurred: Jews around the global converted to Judaism as did Sammy Davis Junior and Ivanka Trump. There is no evidence of a massive migration from Palestine after King Solomon. There have been attempts by anthropologists to study a massive migration away from Palestine 2500 to 3000 years ago by Jewish Palestinians. Attempts have been blocked. No one bothered doing a rigorous study 75 or so years ago before western nations signed off on Jewish aggression in Arab Palestine. A massive Jewish migration from Palestine is a story that is a bit older than story of Santa Claus.
Before Trump's deal, U.A.E. and other oil nations refused to sell oil and natural gas to Jews living in Palestine. I am sure oil & natural gas are a large part of this so-called peace deal. Since there has been no recent combat, how could it be anything other than a commerce deal?
Trump will be jailed for breaking our Tax laws and possibly for his 10 counts of Obstruction of Justice !!
The SCOTUS replacement will be announced Saturday AM. The lefties will again burn down their cities. We don’t care.
Step outside your cities, though, and we will slaughter you like animals.

I grew up in the '60s, when free speech was a counternarrative to governmental and corporate warmongering. Today the shoe is on the other foot, and it is the left which is on the side of corporate greed and strives at every turn to censor speech, promote hate and spin the narrative.
Like most libs, I spent the '80s to 2010s sucking at the teat of CNN/NPR/PBS. Their pseudo-liberal bias is baked into every broadcast, every take on every issue. Today I rely more on thoughtful counterculture libs and former libs such as Jimmy Dore (a hardcore Bernie supporter who is against the DNC corruption) Bret Weinstein, Douglas Murray, Dave Rubin, Tim Poole, Tony Heller as well as conservative voices like Victor David Hanson, Brandon Tatum, Steve Turley. Of course I am surrounded by my liberal frineds who still toe the DemoCrap line, as they cannot fathom the degree to which they are being brainwashed by mono-sourced news and commentary. Good people with lack of awareness of culture and history. Without diversity of sourcing, you are crippling your perspective, destroying your own freedom and knowledge.
History will not be kind to those that do not question the dominant, spoon-fed corporate paradigm. They will be and are blindsided by the violence, the turn to mob rule and destruction of true liberal values by those that pull the strings and call the tune. I have witnessed the destruction and decline in my own city and state, and refuse to be silent in the face of the systematic destruction of Western Liberal Democracy that I see on a daily basis.
You seem unhinged gramps. I would calm down a bit considering you don't have that long left and this sort of high blood pressure craziness could cut that even further.
Sad to think that you'll be long gone before we see another Republican Senate majority or president.
