Is Joe about as big as Chris? Is Joe showing similar potential to Chris? Can Joe break 13 one day like Chris?

Is who the new who?

Possibly but “The Who” is a British rock band. Is there also a group called “Who?”
Klecker is turning 24 in a few months. I suppose he needs to run 13:10 or so soon to show Solinsky potential.
Where does he find time to run when he has to rebuild Minneapolis?
No he’s the new Bob Beamon
Anybody have his height and weight? Guessing 6'1" and 155.

I think you are correct although he looks like maybe 160 sometimes.
He is well known in the running world!
Total guesses from seeing him against some guys that I know the height of. I have been wrong before.

I'm not sure but Guess Who is not the new Who.
That would be a pretty good outcome

Agreed. I don't think he is anywhere near as talented as Solinsky.
I do think he has a shot at breaking 13 someday soon. Different times than when Solinsky ran. Not sure Klecker has it in him to run sub-27 though.
Solinsky graduated with 5 NCAA titles. Klecker has a goose egg. Let’s calm down.

What do you mean different times? If Klecker breaks 13 he is in the ballpark of Solinsky in terms of ability.

Yes, Solinsky is better.
I do think Klecker would've won a title this year, though. He was the fastest returner indoors in 2 events and would've had a great shot at the outdoor 5000.

Until recently, there hadn't been many Americans running sub-13. It seems much more commonplace now. Not sure if its the shoes or the training or what, but I don't think I am as impressed with Woody Kincaid's 12:58 as I was with Bob Kennedy's 12:58 or Ritz's 12:56. Just seems the races are a bit quicker these days.

Yes I do know what you mean. I would say:
I knew Bob Kennedy.
Woody, you’re no Bob Kennedy.
Woody breaking 13 still seems like one of the oddest results in the last couple years/
I attribute some of WK’s sub 13 to:
-the race being ran in his hometown. No travel to deal with and high familiarity.
-the race being a time trial with his teammates. They knew how the race was going to go; no moves to respond or react to like there are in a DL meet, for example.
Just my theories
He's not really that big. He just has a square face and short neck which gives him that appearance. Kinda like Centro JR.

He is not small like Centro. Joe is big for a world class runner.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
