I want to look like that! Being a skinny lightweight, I can't get any attention from the girls. At the gym, good looking ladies are always flirting with those kind of guys. I feel intimidated. The muscle guys definitely have confidence and get sttention. But hey, what do you expect when my upper arms are as small as most people's wrists.
I'm stopping competitive running and starting weight training. I might still run a few miles per week but I'm going to hit lifting hard and put size on like Ryan.
I'm totally motivated after seeing that pic! ?

Hey if anyone says you're too skinny just tell em they're too f slow
The guy looks good. Got to give him credit for that. And I've only heard that Ryan is a great guy who has given a lot to the running community, and he and Sara deserve a ton of credit for adopting the way they did. I don't doubt that he is a first-rate human being.
But isn't there something off-putting about posting shirtless pics of yourself on Instagram? The vanity is just so obvious and cringe-inducing I would think most people with some sense of shame or humility would avoid it. Ryan may disagree and just see it as a way to promote fitness or clean living, and for all I know that's what it is. But in general...yikes.

What's wrong with showing off your half naked body to millions of strangers for some internet points? Seems like it's the sign of a perfectly normal psychology to me.
Showed my gf the pic. She said: "gross". She generally like guys who are lean, and muscles can be hot, but anything beyond roughly Brad Pitt from Fight Club is excessive.
It's kind of the same as chicks with giant butts/boobs. Bigger is not always better! But it's easy to get trapped in that mindset for some. It's harder to look in the mirror and say "that's enough, I can relax now."
has a belly button like a partially unrolled condom
People wondering if he is “natural”, lol! it’s well known he was and is again on TRT. I.e., on the juice.
Nothing wrong with getting strong and being proud, however... what he has become is kinda sad. Before he was a one in 100 million type athlete. Now? He’s A dime a dozen, preening meathead. Really. Overly tan, on the sauce, posting every lift or pose to “ the Gram”. Cmon, sad .

you can't be an uber elite athlete forever and his body was clearly suffering from the training.
now he's healthy and happy after a successful running career. not sad at all.
"it’s well known he was and is again on TRT"
I thought there was only speculation. What do you mean "it is well known" that he WAS and "it is well known" that he IS AGAIN?

He had to stop running due to low testosterone levels. Makes sense that he is now on prescription drugs.
Not sure if the drugs come with a prescription:). Seriously the guy has good work habits and if he can apply them to his eating, you can go far in body building. But he getting to the point of gains that pretty much nobody in their 30s get to naturally.
Probably a PR firm posting this crap. Go to the weight lifting forums if you don't want to run anymore. You don't see me posting my 5k times to letslift.com

I'm not religious, and those seem like more than 1 question. maybe he inspires others to work out? shows he overcame his testo disease and is doing great so maybe others can too. but god wouldn't approve cause it doesn't exist
Yes, God does exist, but you are a faithless turd who'll never meet him. One day you'll regret that statement, but right now you are brave and arrogant.

Yes, God does exist but you'll never meet him as you are a faithless person. Your extreme arrogance and bravery will change one day, but maybe one day too late.
Agreed. Pretty gaudy stuff.
So Ryan was on Thyroid from over training? Then quits running to get on T and probably was destroying Sara’s glutes and hips from too much smashing so he finds a new outlet in lifting? That’s cool bro.
Still got chicken legs
Happy for him. He looks 10 years younger and is probably thrilled he can finally get it up after having T levels in the toilet thanks to his scarecrow years
Good old letsrun community. Have some solid professionals, some knowledgeable athletes, and a lot of haters and liars on 95% of every post. Keep it up.
being intelligent enough to not believe the stupidest bullshyt ever just because it's traditional and others believe it doesn't equal arrogance you blowhard numpty. meanwhile, your foaming rant defaming me cause I'm too smart to believe your tripe is not only extremely arrogant but mind bogglingly stupid and shows the most low character. so very typical for you fairytale addict sociopaths
