Young is all done, sad he won't at least try the sub 4 attempt with Strangio, but a good decision if he wants to get a top 10 NCAA xc finish.(Typical of other sub 14 high schoolers)

I live in the Sac area. When is Strangio going to run his mile?

Can we stop pretending there will be a XC season this fall? It’s not going to happen and would be irresponsible with cases skyrocketing like they are. One sick athlete who dies (maybe has an unknown pre-existing condion) and all sports are shut down. No season.

What would they die from?
So if one person dies from a car accident, the whole world is punished? That's ridiculous.

Won't be one in 2012 either --- 50/50
Better just keep watching Doha.
It's gonna be a LONG time.

Totally agree. I understand Nico not wanting to foreclose the possibility of an XC season, particularly as the field may be thinned and NAU will contend for the team title, but I think the idea of a XC natioanls is silly at this point. He may as well take another crack at the 5000m record or try for a sub-4, try for 8:29, etc.
All sports are currently going in the state of Iowa. High school baseball and softball are in season and all youth sports going on. 160 team tournament with teams from all over the midwest was held last weekend. Track meet next week.

Maybe I should move to Iowa.
Do. The population is getting younger by the day.
Where’s the meet in Iowa? High school?
Actually, there was one in 2012, 100% chance of that.
Yes HS. Held one a week ago. Roison Willis competed. I believe 200 participants next week.
One of my friends dads works on our school board and said that there’s a chance the only sports happening this fall will be cross country, tennis, golf.
