Ya know, i believe her, but just another new excuse for someone down the road.

Is this a new way to inject steroids?
Great - USADA fell for another one. They have no shame.

Agree
Ah well, we know one thing for sure, Ginny fuchs.
Best doping story of all time. Has there ever been a case in which the accused's name is the same as her defense?
They let another one "get off" with the same excuse:

I have a feeling we're going to see this excuse a lot more now.
Doesn't take much. wrote:

Not only that, at least with WADA, she gets off as well.
This sets a dangerous precedent. You can take a banned substance as long as you have your sexual partner take it and then ingest it through intercourse.
However, the good news is that this won't end up applying to most runners since they are involuntary celebate.
^This. The list of "USADA-allowed" substances is growing and growing:
- Cocaine
- Moxylong
- Clenbuterol
- Zeranol
- Ligandrol
- Letrozole
- GW 1516
- Testosterone
- ...
Soon each athlete will have a couple of using bodybuilders as partners, and take lots of supplements with beef. And top it up with hookers.
USADA is just a sad joke at this point.
This sounds like bs.
What were the 2 banned substances? What were her levels? What precisely was the alleged mechanism of transmission? Where is the supporting peer-reviewed empirical research?
Details—or BULLSHlT.
I find this excuse hard to swallow.

Well, bullshit, naturally, we are talking about USADA here. Peer-reviewed research, lol, never! They are obfuscating with:

During a thorough investigation into the circumstances of Fuchs’ case, USADA determined that Fuchs’ male partner was using therapeutic doses of letrozole and GW1516 and the low amounts of letrozole metabolite and GW1516 metabolites detected in her sample were consistent with recent exposure to the substances via sexual transmission. Additionally, a WADA-accredited laboratory confirmed that products possessed by Fuchs’ partner contained therapeutic amounts of letrozole and GW1516.
Not exactly strong evidence for a transfer "via sexual transmission".
Let's hope WADA objects.
So to save her career she told the world that she swallows. Yeah, I can see that.
From the quote attributed to USADA: “USADA determined that Fuchs’ male partner was using therapeutic doses of...GW1516... Additionally, a WADA-accredited laboratory confirmed that products possessed by Fuchs’ partner contained therapeutic amounts of...GW1516.”
From USADA website: “ No, GW1516 is not available anywhere as an approved medication and has no recognized therapeutic uses.”
Uh, ok. Anyone? Bueller?

Are you saying it leaves a bad taste in your mouth?

A soft ball excuse, oh the irony.
Many are making swallow jokes but the steroids would have been digested and not detected. Not much is absorbed through vaginal sex. It's most likely the substances were absorbed through anal sex....just sayin.
