A broken clock is right twice a day. An isolated event a couple of times a year does not an epidemic make and is not justification for the acts of violence against numerous innocent cops and businesses across the country that have ensued. We are talking about a couple of cops in a country of 330 million. The guilty party will be held responsible. It should not be lost on everyone that a black man is 6-7 times more likely to kill a white man than the other way around on a per capita basis.

I believe all human lives matter. If people proclaiming that black lives matter mean it, then why do they support direct abortion, which disproportionately kills blacks?
Kaepernick is some hero:

More BS lies against blacks.
First you dumb racists said blacks have more children out of wedlock and now you say we have the overwhelming number of abortions.....what the F? Newsflash.....whites have more abortions. Besides all of that who cares! Abortions have been legal since 1973 long before almost all of you little a holes were born. If you don't want an abortion then don't have one. If you want one, then have one. It's that women's body and here choice.
Dumb racist whites always taking crap and lying on blacks. For folks that don't like blacks, you sure do talk about them and lie on them forever.

Still more BS lies. An isolated event? First off it wasn't isolated. Thousands of blacks have been killed while unarmed by white police officers this century...thousands! Secondly when these racist white officers murder blacks only 1% of them ever serve any prison time.
Tell me how many times has a African-American police officer murdered an unarmed white person this year or how many ever in America? The black officer in Minnesota wasn't African-American who killed that white Australian woman.
As for blacks killing whites that number is minuscule compared to the 15 million killed in the slave trade and the millions of Native Americans killed by violence and the nasty smallpox carried by the unclean whites. Whites are the world's most prolific by far and you have the nerve to talk about African-Americans. SMH...

I appreciate your passion and you have every opportunity to back anything and everything you say with facts and that is what everyone should be doing. That is how change will occur, along with policy change and full enforcement of the laws that are written. You have an opportunity to be part of the problem or part of the solution.
Lol 15 million in the slave trade over a few hundred years? Try 60 million killed in Europe and Asia in just the past century. Excuse me if I don't feel that any particular group should receive some special treatment.
Yet here we are. The left pandering to blacks and giving them special treatment while crushing white middle class for the past what, 40, 50 years? People are tired if it

The problem is that they aren't always held responsible. The frequency of police incidents may be low but the frequency of justice for the incidents is lower.
Your reaching way back to times most people did not witness first hand and had no part in. Heck, most of my ancestors came to this country after slavery had been eliminated and after the small pox vaccine had been invented. Here are some more recent statistics:
https://ucr.fbi.gov/crime-in-the-u.s/2018/crime-in-the-u.s.-2018/tables/expanded-homicide-data-table-6.xlsIf you do the math, the odds of a black individual being killed by a white individual in the US in 2018 were about 1 in 1.25 million, I'd call that pretty isolated. The odds of a white individual being killed by a black individual in the US in 2018 were 1 in 80,800. Again, pretty isolated, but still over 15 times the rate of whites killing blacks.
Quite honestly far more blacks will likely die of COVID outbreaks stemming from some of these gatherings than unarmed black people will be killed by police this year. The odds of an unarmed black individual being killed by the police are roughly 1 in 2 million. The odds of a black individual being killed by COVID are closer to 60 in 100,000 or 1200 times the odds of being killed by the cops unarmed. How many people at these protests are not wearing masks, are in close contact with others or have their masks in their hand or on their chin?
Great post. It's unfortunate that these facts aren't more publicly known.
Preeeeach!! Facts!

PLEASE try and grasp that not all white people or cops are bad -
another good one -
Mainstream white America is going to reconsider Kaepernick at some point—the way it reconsidered Muhammad Ali years after he refused to go to Vietnam, the way it reconsidered Jackie Robinson and Jack Johnson. Progress comes in fits and starts, and this country tends to punish those who urge it to move faster. The reconsideration of Kaepernick has begun. Today, surely, there are still millions of Americans who don’t like Kaepernick, what he said, what he did, or how he looks. But there are also surely millions who didn’t like him four years ago and who see his point now—or, at least, who understand now that Kaepernick and the athletes who kneeled with him are not on an island. Many other prominent sports figures shared his views in the past week.

Well said my a$$! Only white racists think this is an isolated incident, cops use excessive force on black males all the time. They stop black males for stupid things like crooked license plates. Yes, that happened. They assume all black males are aggressive and dangerous. Idiots like you believe that if it doesn't happen to you it doesn't happen at all. So many people are coming around to the truth. Kaep was right and to see the cops now kneeling with the movement, even if they are only doing it for show, is a good start. As Chris Rock said, some jobs should not have bad apples.

Have a zero tolerance on domestic abuse. The best predictor of how a cop will treat minorities is to look at how he/she treats their spouse. Cops with domestic violence issues should not be cops. Implement that one change and you will weed out 90% of bad cops.

I still don't understand why conservatives got so triggered by Kap taking a knee. I for one prefered that to the riots we have right now, but maybe that's just me.
There is just too much hypocrisy in this world.
Now, people are saying that the protests have turned into riots and a looting spree yet, the same people called people all sorts of names when they peacefully "took a knee" to protest what they are now protesting.
Vice President Mike Pence, in an attempt not to infuriate his crazy boss even walked [or stormed] out of a game as a result.
I am sure Pence must be saying he supports protests but that they have to be peaceful.
No. He doesnt and perhaps has never.
If he did, he wouldn't have walked out that day.
A man and his thoughts.
