And I lost a lot of respect for Goucher and Linden who defended her decision. Incredibly selfish

Never let the wheelchair events end.
Hassan getting gapped again on the Queensboro Bridge during mile 16 and this one could be for good. The others were at drinks stations but this one is just in the course of regular running.
The four women in the lead pack: Hellen Obiri, Sheila Chepkirui, Sharon Lokedia, and Fiona O'Keeffee. Three NYC champs and the US Olympic Trials champ.
Why is there a fat hobbyjogger in yellow blocking the elite men?
Men don't look to be running hard at the moment -- large lead pack.
Fiona O'Keefe getting dropped now
They just dropped O'Keefe

Didn't see this, but may be one of the group that gets to start before the elite groups as part of a Mastercard Priceless experience. They've been doing that for a few years now
Wow such thrilling wheelchair races…shocking that the same 2 people who win every single wheelchair race by minutes won again. I’d love to hear about their fueling strategies, favorite color, earliest memories while those other people run for a while
Who is the male commentator on Eurosport? Having trouble placing his accent

Totally agree, I hope she gets smashed by the four Africans running with her and other Americans catch her.
They need separate coverage for the men's/women's/wheelchair races. We have so many channels. Show the whole thing. Make it like soccer. We never see key moments the way they do it now.
did Sifan walk up the bridge? gap is large now

You shall have your wish now and forever at all televised marathons. All will thank you
Is Fiona O'Keefe coming back to the lead group?
I know as runners we think we're tough, but I'm not sure we need hay bales on corners in case things get aggressive out there.
Fiona O'Keeffee staying at the edge of camera shot, almost certainly will be dropped again but not dead yet

I wondered how serious Kipchoge is about the race when I saw that shirt.
Looking pretty serious
Looks like the top 3 women are slowing down
She caught the lead group. Looks good
