She's there.
She's there.
It’s $120 for a year. Just pay. My goodness. Hard for a sport to thrive with “fans” who are unwilling to offer any support aside from trying to watch pirated streams of events.
This
the mat must have missed her, she's there.

How do we watch without paying???? Why do they always gate these events? It does nothing but hurt the athletes.

The live coverage has been excellent this far.
Bates, Bruce Damato already a full minute back. But a nice little peloton especially if Hall & Taylor lose contact with each other late

Agree. this guy did the Sound Running event, too, and he was solid. Des is offering some solid insights.

Agree. I think the commentators (Des and Swangard) must’ve read the LRC preview because they actually seem to know what the “storylines to follow” are.

Women at 33:02 at 10k which is 2:19:23 pace at 10k so they picked it up as well. They ran 16:24 that 2nd 5k (2:18:24 pace if run the whole way)
2nd pack on 2:23:24 pace
No way either runs 2.18.24

Well, we are no fans. We are part of the sport too.
People are paying so many monthly fees of "just $10". This adds up as well.

Seriously!! Or pay $12/month and skip a couple trips to Chipotle every other week. Everybody complaining that they don't get everything for free...yet they want top-notch coverage, and the athletes to be taken care of & compensated...smh
44:22 at 9 miles?
wouldnt it be great to hear that specifically the budget for elite training groups such as Hoka (Fauble, Levins), and Brooks (Albertson) were funneled a logical percentage of the inevitable big uptick in usatf subs for today's event. doubtful.

This
1000’s of people line up every day in my county to get free meals because of food insecurity. I’d imagine some of them enjoy running. Not everyone has $120 to blow on questionable coverage. Get your head outta your a$$. People here are so out of touch.

We are part of the sport? In what way? The same way that the local baller at the Y is a part of the NBA? I guess. Yes, it does add up. Flotrack + LRC + USATF + NBC Gold, etc. I get it. I also am willing to pay because the sport is that important to me. If some are not willing to pay, that’s okay.
It’s just annoying to hear people act like the paywalls are the problem. They are NOT. Fans who do not think trust watching is worth paying for are the problem. What would a free stream accomplish? We might gain some new “fans” who never open their wallets?

Yup. 10 dollars a month here, 10 dollars there, you don’t watch it that’s thousands a year. And then you’re not saving for retirement and will never be able to stop working
Here's the thread for whining about coverage:

Yeah. I am a teacher in rural mid-Michigan. I am so wealthy that I have become out of touch. Please, dude. No one at a homeless shelter is stressing out right now because they can’t get free access to USATF TV.

The stat line shows 75% humidity. Rojo goes home divastated.
Shows what you know. That is very dry air. The dew point would be in the mid 20s. Though to be fair it cant actually feel humid at 32.
