I raced today, and struggled the last 8 miles, but it wasn’t the humidity. The temp and humidity were not bad. The wind was stronger than I expected but other than the opening 2 miles, wasn’t horrendous. Not amazing marathon weather, but in the end it wasn’t that bad!

Is this where I say boots on the ground?

I'm at a loss. Shalane's had so many near misses and has worked so damn hard. No American marathoner has deserved a win like this more than she has.
