she has always looked like this from the start. it was the same back in 21 when she was running well. she comes on strong in the second half, almost giving the appearance that the 200 should be her true calling. but I don't think that's the case.

i would love a breakdown from one of the smart sprint guys on what's going on there. 10 meter split times all the way through. her compared to the field, compared to sprinters through history.

She ran great and looked great, glad to see she dropped all the big hair and uniform adornments, much more aero looking ....

Good for her. She looked good in the race, but maybe even more importantly in the long term she looked overall like she's done some reflecting and adjusted how she's presenting herself. Came off very likeable in the interview. Not to seem cynical, but if she can make it to the next race without an unforced social media implosion incident, and athletically & mentally repeat Doha when she gets there, that seems like a few steps on a good path to me.

Great win by Sha'Carri. She had a 10.73 in her today so this bodes well going forward. Looking forward to seeing her in more big races (and wins) on the circuit.

LOL at all the posters, particularly American track fans disappointed that the best American sprinter won a Diamond League race.....using her so-called "attitude/behaviour" as an excuse!!

There are the haters that will never like her regardless of what she does. Those people are not willing to give her another chance. However, what you have said here is not accurate. More people are pulling for her and have been supportive. I hope she keeps her head straight and wins the WC this season

We both know why that is!!

Word is that the Budapest track is fast! The whole facility is covered, but “outdoor”, so it won’t be raining on the track. Also there will be no direct sun. The track’s long axis is offset to the stadium’s long axis, though—which is something I find totally bizarre from a competitor’s perspective. I want things to be standard so that I am comfortable and don’t have to worry about learning different environmental cues. But that’s just me. Supposedly it’s better for spectators all around, which makes some sense.

I guess it might be a super facility, so like you I think it might take a 10.6 to win.

I actually think SCR has it in her, if conditions cooperate. Great that there is someone who might seriously break up the Jamaican monopoly.

I would like to see SCR get beaten once or twice before WC, to keep her focused and searching for improvement. Same with all the top contenders, actually. For SCR that would mean races against the top 3 Jamaicans, Alfred, or maybe an in-shape Ta Lou

This is shaping up to be a great women’s 100m season, especially with the return of SCR and the rise of Alfred👍👍

Happy she let her legs do the talking and not her mouth. Superb result early in the season not overshadowed by useless talking. Cant wait to see what she unleashes as the season goes on.

I actually was amused by her yelling the correct pronunciation of her name right after finishing when the announcer apparently muffed it.

What a smoking time! She was blazing! She looked ripped! What a career high! She must be soaring, elevated and on the moon! So faded!
