Nope. Most runner do not agree with DT. People who are actually involved with the sport know that extra scrutiny is placed on people with botched tests. And that Lagat continued providing samples for more than a decade after the botched sample. For real runners the conclusion is simple: the test was indeed tainted; probably intentionally. Now, if Lagat had quit after the botched test a different conclusion could be reached.
DT does come across as rather foolish in that video.
A - Lagat does not have the monopoly on PEDs (if he ever took any)
B - This 43 y.o. guy split 28:32 on his way to his 62:00 earlier in the year
How many of you ever ran sub 28:32 (without spikes)?
So yes, he is redefining what is humanly possible.
