It's HOW he wins that is the problem.

If to 'sit and kick' is your strength and how you win you'd have to be a complete and total feckwit not to use it. Am I missing something here?
Sometimes, while watching professional T&F, I'm able to forget what a drug-riddled cesspool it is. During those short intervals, I'm a big fan of Mo and Galen. The rest of the time???
I knew AlSal a little and I knew people who knew him well, well. NOP are doped. Really Doped. To the extent that I doubt that either Galen or Mo will live to see 60, a'la FloJo.
All serious fans of the sport know this and it explains why, though Mo is charming and in possession of a good biography, that we don't root for him. Sure, the guys he's beating are probably cheaters too. Still.... Am I inspired by the 'king of the cheaters'?? No. I am not.

Relying solely on your strength is weak. Challenge and test your self using other strategies where you are not clearly the best. The other part of the negativity towards him is that he never goes for fast times.
Both of these show that he never gives a 100% effort.

Mo Farah is hated because he is a muslim.

You're right, using the best strategy available to you is a sign of cowardice. That's why soldiers should stop wearing body armor and just wear t-shirts- it'd make combat more of a challenge for them.
And why does Mo only race the long distances? That loser should actually challenge himself by hopping in a 200, to show that he's giving a real effort.
Stop making accusations if what you say has no substance -- if you can't site specifically what these "things" are that you know in a way that's backed up with facts then do us all a favor and don't offer "opinions" about another person's character.
No Hate Here.

is that a joke ???
a guy who parasited off moses tanui to win his 1st gold clipping his heels so bad moses lost his shoe for the sprint
a guy who parasited so bad that when Makau ran the world M record, he zig-zagged so much on the road "telling" geb to f***k off & not sit behind him that i thought it was a saturday night live sketch !!!
So is everyone else he beats....
If you are correct about doping it's not that Mo hasn't been caught, it's because the very top performers are protected. That of course includes a certain sprinter in a much discussed potential 600m matchup.

I can't be bothered to wait 30 years to see the proof of that. Please confirm you submitted your evidence to the USADA investigation.

Was a Mo fan at 1st now sick of
1) always sit and kick
2) many times seems to face weak fields when racing in UK
3) the stupid Mo-bott
If you're in a big race (olympics, WC, DL) and your goal is to win the race...why in the world would you not use your awesome kick to win the race!!
Your competitors know you're a kicker (you do actually have to run the 1st 4200m of a 5k by the way) why do they not take it out hard??!
I love the sit & kick races

I have to agree about Geb, he was a parasite, albeit a successful one who re-wrote record books. But to race like that, making contact, is bad form. Especially when he refuses to share the workload.
The race in Zurich '96 where Komen smashes that parasite is a thing of beauty.

Hilarious, reminds me of Kirui dropping the Ethiopian heel clipper in WC marathon by zagging almost to the point of turning around and running in loops!
Do you have a link to vid of Makau Geb?

He is a bit of an arse to be fair.
In 2012 he started doing the mo bot on the finishing straight of the national 1500m, total disrespect for the rest of the field.
I found the race of him doing the mobot going in the final stretch (about 5:07, not the best vid)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2RN21PNJbvoOne thing I don't get is why a clean athlete would happily train with a dirty athlete.
Mo has had his name dragged through the mud in recent times. Drug taker, test dodger, etc. He is innocent, so you would expect that he would hold in contempt those who are cheating their way to the top of his sport.
But then we see pictures of him training with Hamza Driouch, a convicted doper?
I just don't get it.

Oh, just shut up. No one cares about that. He's disliked because he's a highly suspected ped user and misogynist.
