She should go for the 4:07 full mile that this run is equivalent to. The record has been at 4:12 for way too long. Its probably the softest record on the books and we need to see it go to 4:0X now. There are 3 athletes capable of 4:09, high, right now, and Kipyegon is capable of 4:06 - 4:07.
It's great that Faith now has the world record. She's a consistent and hard working athlete. Her competitors love her. They know who is cheating and who isn't. They respect her; it's great to see. She deserves this. She's been training in Patrick Sang's camp with Kipchoge.
No they don't. How would they know who's cheating and who isn't? It's not like they all hang out together and exchange doping secrets. Groups are isolated. I bet they can only speculate, just like the rest of us.
