Hassan was saying that for the next month she was really hurting everytime she did a longer run. I think she was NOT ready to run New York today and still finished 6th. The Sydney marathon is a tough course.

That is what Iove about her. Other runners would not have been crazy enough to even try this.

This was clearly going to be the case, right? You don't announce before the race that it's your last one unless you know you're no longer in shape to compete upfront

He closed very well I thought he was cooked around 2/3 of the race but a lot of the guys came back to him

Talbi has run 2:06 and hicks will probably run that fast by the trials as well.

If the trials were run next month I would agree with you. But in the world of marathoning three years is WAY to long to even attempt any predictions.
