Dibaba's drinks guy just screwed up -- hard to see her with all the guys blocking the view of her I guess :/ She actually had to stop and take a step back to grab her drink.

is it wrong that every time i hear Josh Cox talk all i can picture is him as the third wheel in the “no boundaries” extended hugging it out with Desi and her husband after Boston?

To be clear, the final remaining pacer is not American Josphat Boit, the former Arkansas runner. It's Josphat Kiprono Boit, who has run 59:19 for the half marathon this year.
Some 39 yo guy?

Could be Josphat Kiptoo Boit who ran 59:19
https://www.iaaf.org/news/report/lake-maggiore-half-marathon-2018Dibaba still having issues with grabbing her drink bottle!!
It’s going on 4 years straight

Ok. I'll give my thoughts like Wejo.

Ok. I just woke up. Was trying to catch them around halfway.
Thoughts without reading this thread:
1) First thing I immediately thought was "looks hot"
2) Only saw 2 pacers with Kipchoge and thought "he's not getting record"
3) Now there is only 1 pacer- how could they not get more pacers than this? or racers? Kipchoge just running by himself is a bit less exciting for viewing purposes. There are a jillion guys in Kenya who can run 1:01 in the half.
4) Race must have started at 3:15 not 3.
5) I'll read the thread to catch up.
1) My first thought weather wise was " it looks calm."
2) My first thought having read this thread and seen the sun is "How hot is it." I'm VERY disappointed no one is talking about the weather. I saw a single post about the temps. I saw one guy say it was 50 degrees at the start. Is that true? What is the TEMP? I'm dissappointed in you LRC. The weather will decide if he gets this.
3) How in the F do you only get 1 pacer?
4) Despite #3, did Kipchoge not learn anything from MANZA? What is he running next to the pacer? I guess it's more relaxing than running behind one guy? But this is the OPPOSITE OF MANZA?
Temp was 57 at 9 AM, it's 60 now
Does Paula Radcliffe watch these things like the undefeated Miami Dolphins' team?
69:03 for women at halfway. Radcliffe pops the champagne.
The sun isn't as strong as when I first started watching.

I must say Kipchoge looks good...no sign of fatigue.
Those vapor flies are going to be questioned. Seriously. How much fatigue is being taken off.
He isn't wearing the 4% you dork.
He had 3 pacers and was doing the Manza thing with all 3 in triangle. And yeah, we've been talking about full sun and how warm his 2 dropped out pacers looked

Yes, sorry, I misread it. It is Kiptoo, not Kiprono. 59:19 is still his PR from this year though.
not much wind

Thats M-O-N-Z-A Rojo......
Looks like the Tour de France now.
Boot can’t run the blue line? I’m guessing he can’t stay in front of Eliud.
25km 72:24, last 5km 14:26
>62 F right now. ouch.
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE DRINK GUY
HES SO EXCITED

Does she have a drinking problem? It's pretty early to be drinking in the UK
The pace isn't slowing and is even picking up slightly. Definitely feels like it's going to happen now.
and last temp I got was 62, still not much wind, but humidity almost 70%, hard to believe with so much sun and being late in the morning there, you'd think humidity 'burned off'
1:12:24 for Kipchoge at 25k, which is 2:02:11 pace. Kipchoge still looks good to me.
14:28 for his last 5k from 20 to 25k -- 14:34 is WR pace.
And now Kipchoge has dropped Boit. He's all alone.
