Eh, more like luke warm "fans" of the sport that haven't any concept of history or background. Sadly, John doesn't watch track because of his awareness of the drug problem and bribes/political attributes associated with such.

Enjoyed the few times racing John in VA back in the day. Never thought people would hang on to every word he said. Good on him though. Lucky enough to have never lost to him :)

Hope he is going well and is still enjoying the passion of endurance sports!

Monaco was a great meet for a whole host of reasons including my son being there to watch it.

Best part of the day he said was running into Tour de France Green Jersey winner from 2017 who was encouraged into the sport of cycling by a little know distance runner from VA. Funny the twist and turns of life.

Tim Hutchings was barely talking about Korir then thankfully the other commentator (is that Stone?) started talking about how Korir was being hyped on the messageboards. No, it's on the editorial side of things.

When the Monaco race ended, my first thought was, "Damn I wish Korir was in this one." He's a stud. He proved it today, nearly running 1:41.

And in the women's 400 in Monaco, I also said that Miller-Uibo would definitely win - and I just wondered if she might break 49 - she did. Your welcome.

This isn't so much a locational thing as it is a temporal thing. Given Rojo's age, this reeks of '80's-speak. Nothing wrong with that, though -- I do it too.

Most of my coached runners lives and trains in Kenya. As you know there are tons of fast and very good runners there.

It`s probably ,as I guess, not so very big chance for a "flying" doping control if the runner isn`t one of the most known.

But of course my runners were tested when they won big prizemoney races in Kenya and Europe.

You see, .. The doping problems in Kenya many years back now, are mostly connected to the major manager companies.

They have the money resources to dope their runners if they want to. I think I remember a German documentary about the doping problems in Kenya told that a dose EPO then cost around 80 dollars, a sum hardly any of my runners without manager can afford if they purely hypothetical would like to do that.

He was our coach, he was my right hand man at Cornell and he had a cult following on her when the site started and he shared his wisdom? Why should you care? Because he could take my brother from 30:16 in college to 28:067 post collegiately while coaching him remotely. He's so smart he doesn't need to watch it.

He also predicted the possibility of the 2:03:02 in Boston that year and the 2:15 winning time this year.

I could "predict" anything after the fact.
