Rojo! thanks for reading. I was trying to word my argument a little strongly as is common around here. But what I mean is he didn't directly say "I let him win," (ie I could have won if I wanted), though popular opinion is that's what he meant (maybe because that's how Jenkins heard it, and because it's spicy). what he said was he said to himself "let him win." as in give it up, it's okay he's going to beat you, no need to fight it. like he just was being accepting of the fact that Jenkins had his number. maybe I'm being overly optimistic. maybe Ches did make a big faux pas (I guess he did, either way). I just want to offer a different scenario that as far as I know is plausible, and a bit less dramatic.
