World Athletics:

In the 100, Justin Gatlin barely beat Qatar’s Femi Ogunode as they were both timed at 9.98. France's Jimmy Vicaut was a close third in 9.99.

World Athletics:

After Yulia Zaripova's doping ban stripping her 9:05.02 from the books, this puts Ghribi second on the all-time list behind Russia's Gulnara Galkina who has the WR at 8:58.81.

LRC Brussels Diamond League Finale: Great Women's Mile, Americans Come Up Short in 5k, Schippers Over Felix

The DL season ended with a great track meet in Brussels as there were world leaders in the women's mile, steeple, and men's 5k and Dafne Schippers beating Allyson Felix in the 200. Plus Shannon Rowbury had Jenny Simpson's number again and Ben True and Ryan Hill beat Galen Rupp again.

The Independent:

“As much as they want to pile on Justin Gatlin, all I’ve got to do is bring up Linford Christie and they look like fools,” said Nehemiah. “They all defended him, they all thought he was innocent, that he never did anything. See what I’m saying? They come up with every kind of excuse [for Christie]. That to me is very telling...“aula Radcliffe’s name has come up and now she’s having to defend herself, so I’d like to see if they’re going to get on her and ask: ‘did you do this?’”

LRC Brussels Preview: Can Galen Rupp Get The AR In 5K? Can Ben True Break 13:00? Plus Kiprop Vs. Rudisha & The World's Best At 800 And A Loaded Women's Mile

What a way to end the season. The men's 800 is WAY better than the World Championships final and the men's 5,000 might result in the American record falling. We break it down for you.

World Athletics:

Some events are pretty much wrapped up like Sifan Hassan in the 1500 and Sandra Perkovic in the discus. Others, like Christian Taylor vs Pedro Pablo Pichardo in the TJ, will come to a nail-biting conclusion. The 200 series will also come to an interesting conclusion between Allyson Felix, Dafne Schippers and Jeneba Tarmoh. The men's 5000 is wide open with literally everyone on the start line (including Ben True) in contention for the overall DL title.
