After a recent setback with his left Achilles which has been bothering him since last April, Ingebritsen fwent under the knife. Ingebrigtsen's surgery was on the sheath around his left Achilles tendon, not the tendon itself. He said the recovery time is "somewhat short," but his spokesperson Espen Skoland did not say when his next race would be.
