Possibly, but it is worth noting that Mantz did pretty high volume training for a high-schooler - he actually ran 1:11 for a half all the way back in 2012. I used to follow his training blog when he was in high school to see what workouts he was doing, and he was definitely a beast back then, but if I recall correctly McDonald was known for running lower mileage similar to Fisher. Both are undoubtedly huge talents, but I think Mantz may excel even more at longer distances than 10k.
