So palpably incorrect. Wow.

Well right now, he IS the best runner in Europe. You can’t deny it. Maybe not in a few weeks, but he’s destroying the competition for the moment.

Does Mo Farrah no longer count as a distance runner or a European?

I guess he is talking about track, not road running.

Sure, but he's not running as well as Jakob.

Well, now that you mention it, for me Farrah does not count as European. It's stupid to say so.

Jakob's season is reminding me of Steve Ovett in 1977 when he moved up from the 400/800 with 1500 as an afterthought, to focus on the 1500/mile. Obviously, Jakob's season has been even more spectacular with all the medals, and at only 17, but it's the same kind of literal improvement and rise to dominance with every race that Ovett displayed.
I can honestly see Jakob not losing to another European runner over 1500/5000 for another x number of years. This week might have been the last chance for guys like Lewandowski and Wightman to ever win 1500 European gold.
As for Mo Farah, I doubt if he could drop back down and beat Jakob over 5000m let alone 1500. And he has done nothing yet on the road to remotely compare with what Jakob has done this week on the track.
Mo Farah could have won both the 1500m and 5000m over Jakob. Furthermore, Mo’s 2:06:21 is superior to anything Jakob has done this week. You really need to educate yourself.
I don't doubt that he could have (this year) if he hadn'the moved up to the marathon, but I doubt he could simply move down next week and beat Jakob on the track. And the guy is what, 34 now? If he decided to train for the world championships 1500/5000 next year, he wouldn't beat Jakob. Jakob will be running sub 3:30 and likely sub 13:00 next year. He might be in that kind of shape right now. Mo ain't running those times ever again, even with a winter in remote Ethiopia with his earplugs on in bed.

MOHAMMED (that is his real name, you racist) wasn't born in Europe, his parents aren't European, he doesn't represent European values... so no, he isn't European.
Also, we all know it is extremely liked he is doped (NOP, doorbell, Jama...).
Are we seriously pretending Mo Farah ISN'T the best runner from Europe? This is hilarious. Only on letsrun.
Mo Farah could have won that 5k off of marathon training, and I'd even bet on him to win the 1500 with 2 weeks of sharpening. You don't think he could run a 54 last lap? lol
Also, since I may have already ruffled some feathers... Since when do we actually care about the European championships? All of the sudden we're taking this seriously? That 5k final was a joke. The fact that he's 17 and winning these races is obviously remarkable, but I can't believe the hype he is getting for outleaning Marcin Lewandowski and Jake Wightman.
Speaking of which, what the heck happened to Chris O'Hare?
jakob has reached his limits.

Well you're.a moron and no one cares what you think. A 17 year old eases down in winning European 1500 gold, saving himself for the 5000 the next day which he dominates. If you think this is 'hype you're just a troll.

Dude, the 1950s just called - they want their clan hood back that you borrowed...
Sir Mo moved to GB at the age of EIGHT, his father was London born, plus, as you can easily look up, all his formative training years were done with Hounslow AC.
Still I'm sure you know all that but it really doesn't matter when what you're really jerking yourself off on it the prospect of a WHITE European champion... And wtf exactly are "European values"?! Moran.
Euros is about as prestigious as an all comers meet.
