I’ve watched the DL meets all summer. The meets he works I have not heard Mo’s name mentioned until yesterday, with two Brits working the booth at the London stadium. His name has to come up because in the setting and context there is a vacuum without him. Sadly, Americans do not have the same point of reference unless it’s a dead distance runner from Oregon
Even on the US Champs broadcast he mentioned him just as he did during the Monoco 1500 and every other meet this season enough already
Please stop calling the best English language Athletics commentator Tim Hutchinson. His name is Tim Hutchings.

yeah stick to things people know. here are some examples...... "400 meters around just like you local high school track..." or "v8 engine inside of a volkswagon..." or " the knowledgable hayward field fans..." or " he is full of doubt, always wondering who will finish second, who will finish third?"

Your words are so salty that they're dehydrating me.

Apparently he reads these boards, so he might heed your request.
Scary to think that a great athlete and commentator like that might have read the doping apologism and racism of the shady characters here such as El K, rekrunner, scroevette, ex-letsrunner and the like. :(
True. He always makes sure to work Farah’s name in from barely realated conversation. And yes, it is extremely annoying.

Must have looked here because big shock he did not work it somehow into the 2nd day broadcast of the London meet. Was sure he would mention him when Greg Rutherford was jumping.
Who is Tim Hutchinson and why is he talking about Mo Farah?
Tim Hutchings is the greatest runner EVER

Letsrunner stop making Mo F threads all the time.
I really like Tim's commentating. Worlds above so many others we have to endure.
Deer Tim Hutchings
Hutchings is excellent and I have barely noticed this. It’s natural to talk about the best track distance runner of the 2010s once in a while. Also I love that the commentators love Letsrun
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
