Having seen footage from last year's Prague Marathon, it does indeed have pacers

Did bib 5 disappear from search results at the originally referenced site?
https://www.runczech.com/srv/www/qf/en/ramjet/event/runnerList?eventId=21429
"Galen" and "Rupp" also return no hits, but the numbers 1,2,3,4,6, and any of their first and last names work as expected.
Pretty easy scam here. They found an easy marathon for Galen to win so that Americans can feel good again. Yawn.
Mutai's 2:05:06 at NYC is impressive. So would be another 2:05 at Prague. Say a 2:04 at Prague, then we're talking world-beater level.
Kipitok ...
Correct, it did disappear, but letsrun did confirm with the organizers that he was running so unless something changed within last couple hours...
Weird, looks like he may have scratched now. LetsRun needs to find out WHEN he signed up originally for Prague -- before Boston or after???
Rupp is a puzzy.
Yes, winning or doing well in Dubai is impressivde but the times are usually faster than what they can do elsewhere. WhenI look at times, I discount Dubai a bit. If London is the baseline, I think Dubai and Berlin are 60-75 are Seconds faster. Chicago (paced) and Tokyo would be like London and NY and Boston (no tailwind) are maybe 60-75 seconds slower than London,
This is for all you idiots arguing about how hilly/elevation of Prague Mara, took me all of five seconds, guess you can do the same for New York, Boston, etc if you want to compare:

So Khannouchi is born and raised in Morocco and becomes a US citizen in 2000 at the age of 30 and then in 2002 wins Chicago. I think I would call him Moroccan. The more PC types may call him Moroccan-American but definitely not American. I would not have even bothered with the "American born" label since I would understand that Rupp is the actual American.
Those of us that actually work for a living, especially those of us with any work or exposure to personnel or security issues, would never make any of the basic mistakes you're making here.

Maybe he is running as a bandit wearing the same mask he used in Boston
Rupp not listed, but Lemma, etc are:

So by this logic African-Americans are definitely not Americans.
Nice post RACIST!!!
Only Native Americans are ‘Real Americans’. Everyone else is an immigrant.

Don’t forget European-Americans.
Can he get the American record held by khannouchi?

He is brave to face Sisay Lemma. It will either be another DNF, or a 2:09, 5 minutes behind Lemma.
Wow, 3 options. You're like a running wizard. Can I be your friend?
Woody, don't be put off by the complexity of the web. I'm sure if you relaxed and took your time you could count to 2 without assistance.
cheers.
i'm amazed by the boy scouts wrote: HONEST QUESTIONS: if you genuinely believe Rupp has "cheated" based on some of the allegations, how do you enjoy following track and running?
maybe you haven't noticed, but there is a lot more to track and field than the elite end of long distance road racing.
I start with the basic assumption that anyone that the readers of this forum might classify as an elite athlete is cheating in some sense. they might not be actively consuming banned drugs but they are all pushing the envelope as far as they can and twisting their ethics and bending their morals and convoluting their interpretations of the rules to give them the greatest possible advantage. I don't even blame them. I think it's human nature to do that. but I still think it has ruined our sport.
but I still enjoy helping youngsters take their first steps in the sport, in coaching folks who have the drive and ambition to stick to it even when they clearly have no talent and will never be anything at any level in the sport. I enjoy watching all sorts of races at many different levels and for me there is just as much pleasure in watching the under-8 boys run their first 80m races as there is in the County Championships or the NCAA's.
I've coached several internationals and one guy who went to the olympic trials for two different countries, I've coached a paraplegic boy to throw the shot, a blind girl to race 400m and lots and lots of very ordinary folk who did completely ordinary things just because they enjoyed it and your question, if it genuinely is an honest question, implies that none of these people or their efforts or their achievements are even part of the same sport. and I think that, unintentionally perhaps, makes you one of the rudest people on these boards.
cheers.
550 feet of gain is no joke. Probably adds at least a couple minutes over Berlin or Dubai, somewhat faster than New York. 2:07-8 would be a great race for Rupp on this one.

LRC please finish this analogy:
Yuki K ran Prague last year and finished in 6th place in a time of 2:10....
So that means Rupp will finish in ____ place in a time of __________???????
He also fell pretty hard on cobblestones around 33k while in the lead pack on 2:08 pace but got up and finished anyway. Should be factored into predictions.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
