You're trolling I think but for the 3 year wait is that since you last competed for another country?
None of the WCAP guys competed for Kenya as far as I know. All have lived in the US for years. Don't see how 3 year waiting period would affect them.
These guys have all been in US for more than 3 years. If you have to wait 3 years once you get citizenship I think that's a joke or they should be able to apply why they are waiting for citizenship. So King Ches could apply now and get it when he gets citizenship years from now.

- Trolls don't publish FACTS
- I did not see anything in the article that reflected a stipulation of "only if you hadn't previously competed for your home country in IAAF competition." Just because you have lived in the US for years has nothing to do with citizenship.
- The real joke is OUR US Army exploiting immigration loopholes like Military Accessions Vital to the National Interest (MAVNI) program to recruit NCAA "Green-Card" studs to enlist, grant them citizenship, assign them to WCAP, & sets conditions for them to never serve in the War on Terror as the program intends ... example w/Special Forces on the Somalia border.
- Cheserek: a selfish product of American benevolence ... HS donor scholarship & US taxpayer financed athletic scholarship --- turned his back on Kenya.
